Today let’s talk about the Garnier Mythic Olive Deep Nourishing Conditioner. Like I mentioned before, I had purchased these products when they were launched but started using only since a month. There are tonnes of such product which I want to share with you guys but I am just making sure I try them out well before sharing my thoughts. So without further ado, let’s dive in and explore my experience with this conditioner.

In Detail Garnier Ultra Blends Mythic Olive Conditioner Review, Swatches and My Experience

The conditioner comes in a olive green coloured opaque squeeze bottle with a flip open golden coloured top. It has all the details mentioned on the back labels including the detailed ingredient list as well as the price. I love how simple yet user friendly the packaging is. However I wish they had launched a bigger sized conditioner for ladies with long manes like me.

The conditioner smells really fresh and soothing. But the smell lingers around only for a while after you’re done washing your hair. Hence it fades away rather quickly. It has a moderate to thick – creamy consistency. When you look at it, it appears to have an olive green tinge to it.

How I Use it

I wash my hair with the Garnier Ultra Blends Mythic Olive Shampoo. Then I take a coin sized amount of this conditioner, spread it on my palms and work it along the shafts of my hair. I make sure I do not use the conditioner near my hair roots. Because I only use conditioners on the lengths of my hair from ears to ends. I usually keep it in the hair for around 5-7 minutes. Then wash it off with normal temperature water. Making sure I get all the product out. Never leave the slipperiness of the conditioner behind in your hair because it would cause product build up.

PS. I have had many girls including my patients ask me how to avoid hair fall while using a conditioner. One of the solutions is, Do not apply conditioner on the roots of your hair or on the scalp. Conditioner should be only applied on the lengths of the hair and not on the roots. The natural oils produced in the scalp are enough to nourish the hair roots.

Effects

The Mythic Olive Oil conditioner leaves my hair feeling really soft and somewhat silky. It never weighs down my hair. It takes away the dry and frizzy look from the lengths of my hair and makes them look healthy. However these effects only last for a couple of days.

Overall I feel this is a great conditioner for ladies with normal to dry hair type. Although this does not eliminate frizz 100% but takes care of it upto 90% I would say. I love how this does not have a huge quantity of keratin softners which usually are in ingredient in most conditioners responsible for making hair fall flat. After using this, my hair feels nourished and yet doesn’t loose volume which is a huge plus point.
