In Detail Garnier Ultra Blends Royal Jelly & Lavender Conditioner Review and My Experience
Garnier Royal Jelly and Lavender conditioner comes in a honey yellow coloured squeeze bottle with a brown coloured flip open top. All the details about the product including a complete list of ingredients is mentioned on back of the bottle.
While I do like this convenient to use bottle, I really wish Indian hair care brands come up with bigger bottles of conditioners. Like honestly, 100-200 mL bottles are the biggest sizes of conditioners that we get here in India.
Moving on, let’s get into more details. When I smell the conditioner, it has a very nice fresh scent to it, I can sort of relate it to something sweet but not exactly honey. The conditioner itself is white in colour. Also, this has a soft creamy consistency. Therefore it is very easy to spread along the hair lengths.
How I Use it
I use it after I shampoo my hair and its still wet. So, I take approximately 2 coin sized for my hair length which is 4 inches below my shoulders. I have pretty thick hair so I always need more amount of conditioner no matter which one I use. Again, I always use conditioners only on my hair lengths. I never ever use conditioner on my scalp or near hair roots. Usually, I keep the conditioner in for about 5 to 7 minutes. Then I wash it off with normal temperature water. Also, I never use hot or even warm water for my hair.
Effects
While I am washing the conditioner off my hair, I immediately notice how nicely this detangles my hair. After drying, my hair are softer and look smoother. I know this particular conditioner is meant for combating hair fall. However, I did not notice any effect of this conditioner on my hair fall per se.
The fact that this reduces tangles and makes hair smoother does till a certain extent help with reducing hair fall in case of super rough and unmanageable hair. But to be honest, I do not think the conditioner itself reduces hair fall.
Overall Verdict
Overall I think this is a very nice conditioner for regular use at a really affordable price tag. Although it does not exactly reduce hair fall as it claims, still I like it because it makes my hair more manageable. Also, it is very readily available online as well as in stores.
Please note, that this conditioner does contain silicone in the form of “Amodimethicone”. Also, there are certain ingredients which everyone may not be a fan of like alcohols, chlorhexidine etc. So make sure you check out the ingredient list above before purchasing as well as do a patch test before using it.
