Who doesn’t love mint flavoured everything? I absolutely love mint flavours. So this is basically my 2nd jar of spearmint lip scrub. Let me take you into the details and tell you all I have to say about this fabulous lip scrub.

How to Use Jeffree Star Velour Lip Scrub Spearmint

Use our delicious sugar based lip scrub to prep your lips before applying any liquid lipstick.

Take a scoop out and rub your mouth in circular motions.

Lick away excess (yes, it’s edible!) or wipe off with a tissue.

In Detail Jeffree Star Velour Lip Scrub Spearmint Review, Swatches and My Experience

The Jeffree star lip scrub comes in a see through plastic tub with a hot pink screw lid. Exactly like the other scrubs from the brand. It has all the necessary information mentioned on the outer package as well as inner labels.

I love that this is not a glass jar. So this is very travel friendly. In fact, I have one in my purse all the time.

It smells exactly like fresh mints. Not mild, let me tell you. It is a very nice refreshing mint smell which you’ll love if you like fresh minty smelling things. It has a lovely grainy texture which isn’t harsh yet the sugar particles are big enough to scrub the lips thoroughly.

How I Use it

I scoop out a little bit and gently massage it on my lips. Don’t be harsh, let the sugar granules do their job. After like 2-4 minutes, I remove it. If I am at home, I wash it off. If I am outside, I wipe it off with a tissue paper.

Effects

This scrub leaves my lips feeling super soft, supple and hydrated. It removes all those dead skin cells from the surface of the lips to reveal the smoother looking lips. Spearmint for some reason has a plumping effect on my lips too.

In fact, I use this every single time before using any matte lipstick. If my lips are having a good day, I usually would skip using a lip balm too. Its because this scrub itself is very hydrating to the lips.

In case of severely dry and chapped lips, please use this regularly along with in intensely hydrating lip balm or chapstick. This does not repair or heal very dry lips in a single use.
