I can never have enough of lipsticks and so I am back with another liquid lipstick review which is from my recent haul from USA. Jordana is another well known and very affordable brand from US and also a sister company to Milani. This is the first product that I am using from the brand. Packaging

I must say that packaging is quite classical and sturdy. It comes in clear plastic see through tube with black coloured plastic cap on top. The shade on the tube corresponds the actual color of lipstick. Although the size of the tube and quantity of lipstick is small in comparison to other liquid lipsticks available in the market.

It has a doe foot applicator which has a one sided slanting tip. Hence, it simply adjusts to the lip shape and makes the application very easy. The length of applicator is small due to overall packaging. Again it is plus point and makes application convenient.

Texture and Smell

It has mousey buttery texture which simply glides on the lips. Feels like applying vanilla flavoured mousse on lips. It simply smells amazing like vanilla cupcakes however, it can be overpowering for some but being a cupcakes lover it doesn’t bother me.

Pigmentation

Being thick and mousey in texture, it is insanely pigmented. Therefore, just one swipe is required to get the true colour on to the lips no matter how much pigmented one’s lips are. However multiple swipes make the lipstick patchy.

My Experience

I am quite pleased with this lipstick as I found it to be the best liquid to matte lipstick currently in my stash. Also, it dries to a perfect powdery matte finish and feels very comfortable to wear. It dries quickly after application say within 10 to 15 seconds, so one has to be quick in application with these lippies.

Being mousse like in texture they feel very comfortable even when worn for longer period of time, and don’t felt drying unlike Milani amore matte lip crème and Nyx soft matte lip crème. Still it is good to have a lip balm base underneath the lipstick.

My lips don’t feel drying for about 3 hours. After this time, it settled into my lip lines but still doesn’t makes me feel uncomfortable. The doe foot applicator has a slant to it which picks up enough product to cover the entire lip surface in just one dip. It has vanilla cupcake like smell, which doesn’t not linger much and goes off once the product dries down.

Longevity

Being comfortable it is also quite long lasting too. It can withstand light snacks and drinks. I have noticed a slight transferring of this lipstick during a meal. My lipstick got rubbed off from the centre of my lips which is pretty obvious with all the matte lipsticks. But still overall it offers 6 hours of wearing even with meals and snacks.
