How to use Kerastase Elixir Ultime Beautifying Oil Masque

Apply a small amount of Kérastase ELIXIR ULTIME Beautifying Oil-Enriched Masque to the lengths and ends of the hair. Massage in gently, focusing on the most damaged areas. Leave to work for 5 minutes then rinse well.

This mask needs to be applied on scalp and hair, evenly.You can use a hair colour brush or your finger tips to apply this hair masque, after using a shampoo to rehydrate your hair.

In Detail Kerastase Elixir Ultime Beautifying Oil Masque Review, Swatches and My Experience

Let us start with the packaging, this hair masque comes in a Plastic tub which is of Golden colour. The cap needs to be rotated to open and close the tub. I dispense the product with a hair colour brush or fingertips. There is no additional lid to prevent spillage.

Coming to the texture, it has a rich and creamy texture. Coat it on hair lavishly and you can even use it on scalp to strengthen the roots. For shoulder length hair, approximately a quantity equal to one tablespoon is required.

I apply the masque on hair after using a moisturising shampoo. It does not get too stiff as it sets and is easy to wash off. After coming off, it leaves a mild fragrance behind. You may not use a conditioner with this product as this itself infuses moisture in your strands and seals the cuticles.

It does make hair soft to touch, fragrant, silky to look at and manageable to a good extent. One thing I really do not like is the quantity of the product. I do not mind spending 1350 bucks on a quality product but at least give me a quantity that is agreeable!
