Lakme 9 to 5 Rose Crush Pure Rouge Blusher Review, Swatches: Hello everyone, hope you guys are well and safe. I am a huge fan of neutral colors in blushes, and hadn’t tried one from lakme in a very long time and gave this a try.

And as always, I ordered it online so my only reference were the pictures and description. The color looked different, brown with a bit of pink and the name Rose Crush gives you the impression that it would have a little pit pink or any rose color. Hence the choice of this color.

In Detail Lakme 9 to 5 Rose Crush Pure Rouge Blusher Review, Swatche sand My Experience

Lakme is a very well-known brand and every makeup lover in India has definitely tried something or the other from it. It has almost every product in a variety of ranges and one of my most favourite one from lakme would be the lakme absolute shine line waterproof eye-liner in the shade black, it is a must try. The blusher I have is from Lakme 9to5 Range and it comes in pinks, corals etc.

The blusher comes in a beautiful rose gold plastic packing, it’s a square box with transparent top. It’s made of good quality plastic which gives a glass finish kind of texture making it look really chic. The blusher has a plastic film along with it which prevents the transparent top to get dirty.

It also comes with its own brush applicator which is inside the box itself so you won’t have to look for it or store it separately. It’s a small rectangular flat brush which is quite dense for a blusher and very flat. You look at It and the first thing that comes to mind is, the brush isn’t going to do the job.

We are all used to the fluffy round dome shaped brushes to apply any kind of powder , BUT this tiny brush can blend the product like a dream without making the blush patchy, the trick is to not use the tip but the flat side of the brush and keep a light hand, dust off the excess and go with a very light hand. The bristles of the brush are very soft and densely packed, easy to clean and maintain.

The packing is travel friendly and the brush applicator only adds up to this aspect, though a mirror would have been a great feature with this blusher as the packing is big enough for a decent mirror.

The formula is very soft, nicely milled has a soft shimmer to it. It’s a powder product but it feels quite creamy, it’s not very pigmented but yes, its decently pigmented, transfers easily doesn’t look patchy, it’s very easy to blend as well. Having a bit of shimmer particles, it is very important that the product spreads evenly and it does the job.

The product quantity we are getting is pretty good. Its 6 gms so if you have a favourite one from this range you are in for a treat it’ll stay for a long time even if you use it every day.

What disappointed me was the shade. Lakme usually does pinks and reds, and then the name of the blusher was Rose crush, which give us the impression that the shade would have some pink or red to it, or to be honest I expected it to have a lot more pink to it.

It’s a brown blusher with pink undertones and quite a bit of shimmer, which is not something I would go for on a regular basis, the shade has very limited use for me, though I love the formulation soo much I can’t use it as often as I would want to. If you are a fan of bronzers, you can use this shade as one, it won’t disappoint you.

But I would definitely give another shade a chance from this range, it’s a very good blusher and I even love the brush that comes with it. It stays for 3-4 hours easily.

MBF Advises

Try other shades from this range , I am hoping to try one soon myself.
Use the flat side of the brush applicator rather than the tip, using the tip would not transfer the product properly.
