It is from my favourite brand Lakme. Lakme has recently launched a primer called Lakme Absolute Undercover Gel Primer Interesting name isn’t it?

I bought this from nykaa the day it was launched on their site hence I did not get any discount on this. Primers are very important for me. I apply them everyday even if I am going to market or shopping just for 2 to 3 hours.

They really help in making my makeup last longer and also most importantly it mattifies my extremely oily skin. Read on my review below to know more about this new primer from Lakme.

Lakme Absolute Undercover Gel Primer comes in a shiny black colored cardboard box with every necessary information printed on it. The actual primer comes in a shiny black color tube which has a silver twist open cap. The cap closes well so the primer can be carried along with us easily without any worries of spillage.

The packaging of it is very average nothing tempting and exciting. If you have used Lakme’s previously launched Blur perfect makeup primer, it is very much identical to that everything is exactly same.
This gel primer has a very faint smell which is not over powering at all.

As the name says the texture of the primer is transparent gel based and it is not very thick. It is a little runny when poured at back of the hand. Because it is transparent there are no major hassles related to proper blending, i]t gets absorbed into skin instantly.

You need just a little bit and you can apply this according to your need. If you have oily skin type, all over face. If you have combination skin, only on the T-zone. Finally, if you have dry skin, you can still apply it all over face why? to make your skin softer. It doesn’t dry out your skin in process of making it matte.

It makes the makeup application easier because of two things. First, it fills in small pores and fine lines which makes your skin smoother. Secondly, it makes the skin feel and appear softer too. I love how my skin feels after I apply this primer.

A pea size quantity is needed to apply it all over face and neck. do not apply more than that it will make your face slippery so beware. It definately makes my face matte and helps in controlling oil secretion at some level.

Overall I am really enjoying using this primer and I will also suggest my oily skin and dry skin beauties to buy it. I am sure you all are gonna love it no matter in what season you are using it.

1. Always apply a good quality primer to increase the staying power of your makeup especially for oily skin and primers also works as a barrier between your skin and makeup.
2. Just take little amount of this lakme primer. If it is applied in larger quantity your skin which feel very slippery and it feels very uncomfortable as well (I experienced it)
