How To Use Lakme Forever Matte Liquid Lipstick

Starting from the center of the upper lip, in your cupid’s bow, follow your lip line and fill color evenly all over the upper and lower lips.

In Detail Lakme Crimson Rose Forever Matte Liquid Lip Colour Review, Swatches and My Experience

Lakme forever matte lipstick does not comes with any outer packaging it was just wrapped in a thin plastic. The actual liquid lipstick is cute sleek and tiny transparent bottle which has brand name shade name etc embossed in its bottle itself.

Because of the transparent bottle it is very easy to locate the shade in our vanity. Also it has a black color twist open cap where a tiny doe foot applicator is attached.

The applicator is thin which enables us to apply the lipstick on edge of our lips precisely. I really liked it’s packaging not fancy but good in terms of its price.

The Smell of the lipsticks is fruity and is not overpowering at all.

The texture of the lipstick is very beautiful. It’s liquid-y but not very thin like Nykaa liquid lipsticks. It glides on effortlessly but it does take time to apply it especially on the edge of the lips.

It sets into a matte finish within minutes of application and provides a comfortable matte finish and is not extremely drying and stretchy like other long wearing lipsticks.

I do not feel the need of applying a lipstick balm underneath prior applying this liquid lipstick. It gives a flawless look and does not sets into fine lines of lips which I like.

These lipsticks are available in multiple shades and as mentioned above I am talking about the shade Crimson Rose in this review.

Lakme Crimson rose is a very beautiful red color which looks amazing on my skin and can be worn by any complexion girls as it is universally flattering. This shade is quite attention grabbing and I personally don’t like to wear such stark colors in day time but it’s opt for night outs.

I love how these lipsticks mostly caters towards darker shades which is best for Indian skin, only 3 to 4 shades are little paler rest all the shade will be good for all skin tone.

The lipsticks is intensely pigmented and just one swipe is enough to cover whole lips. Also my upper lip is pigmented and this hides it remarkably.

It stayed on my lips for good about 6 hours without heavy meal. With heavy meal it does loose its intensity but does not comes off completely.
