In Detail Lever Ayush Anti Pimple Turmeric Face Wash Review, Swatches and My Experience
The face wash comes in a very basic see through tube with a white flip open top. The product inside is yellow in colour. Although there is an ingredient list at the back of the packaging, I somehow feel that the list isn’t really complete. They have mentioned “Face Wash Base q.s.”, well I would like to know what is actually there inside used as a base. ( q.s. means sufficient quantity). Apart from that, I do not have any complains with the packaging.
Well coming to the smell of the face wash, I have to say I am not a big fan. It smells like soap. It smells like a harsh soap to be more precise. Kind of a turn off for me. Speaking of the consistency, its semi gel to cream like. Easy to squeeze out of the tube.
How I Use it
I take a pea sized amount of the face wash and work it on my wet facial and neck skin. It lathers nicely, not too much though. I like to go in circular motions specially around my nose, chin and forehead area because they tend to get oily easily. Then I wash it off with normal temperature water. I do not use very cold or hot water on my skin because I think normal room temperature water is the best for every skin type.
The face wash cleans my face nicely. It removes all the dirt and impurities. Makes my skin squeaky clean. However it definitely does dry out my skin. I always need a good moisturiser after using this face wash. I used this for almost 4 weeks and I did not notice any long term benefits either.
It is a decent budget friendly face wash. It cleans my skin well and there were no harmful effects. However I do not like the fact that it dries out my skin. Also, like I mentioned above, I do not like the way this smells. Another point that I wish the brand can improve upon is the ingredient list. I mean I genuinely like the brands which mention a complete detailed ingredients list on their products. Otherwise, there is no way in the world that I know what I am putting on my skin. So if you’re looking for an everyday use inexpensive face wash, you may give this a try. This did nothing great for me personally. Also, incomplete ingredient list kind of creeps me out. Therefore, I wouldn’t be repurchasing this.
