L’Oréal Colour Riche Lipcolour British Red 350 Review, Swatches: Hi Everyone, this is my first post in Makeup and Beauty Forever and I am super-excited! I am Tarannum and I am a big-time makeup-junkie. Being a lipstick lover, my first post is about L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Lipstick in the shade British Red.

I have been looking for this shade everywhere but couldn’t find anywhere in India. I asked my brother in US to get it for me from US. Read on to know how well the British Red went with my very Indian skin tone.

In India the Colour Riche collection costs around 950 INR. However, this specific shade was available nowhere. My brother got this from US for $8.96.

In Detail L’Oréal Colour Riche Lipcolour British Red 350 Review, Swatches and My Experience

L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipsticks come in luxurious golden cases. The cases give a really royal and classy feel the products. They don’t come with any exterior paper packing or so. Once you open the cap and roll out the lipstick you are welcomed by a lovely fruity fragrance. The fragrance is not strong but very pleasant.

Texture and application

The application is smooth. The lipstick glides on my lips effortlessly. It is always recommended to moisturize lips before applying lipsticks but may be you can skip that part when using L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick. British Red is a red that will suit all skin tones. It makes my face brighter on application.

Single application is enough for me. It covers my lip pigmentation perfectly. If you want deeper colour then you can go for multiple coats.

My final verdict

I loved the British Red. It did justice to my wheatish complexion. It stayed intact for 4 hours. Post meal I had to apply it once and I was good to go for rest of the day at work. It fades away leaving a pretty nice pinkish stain on the lips. If you don’t like stained lips then you will have to use a makeup remover to remove it. It is part of an expensive range of lipsticks by L’Oreal but I think a good red lipstick is like an investment!

1. It is not matte. But it’s not super glossy also. It’s somewhere in between!

3. Comes expensive
4. This shade is not easily available in India.

1. You can buy this shade from international makeup sites. I see Amazon selling but make sure you’re buying from genuine seller.
2. Always line your lip before using this lipstick for the perfect red pout.
3. Skip the lip balm as the lipstick is already moisturizing. Too much of moisture can make the lipstick spill.
