In Detail L’Oreal Infallible 24HR Matte Cover Foundation Review, Swatches and My Experience

Loreal matte cover foundation comes in a sleek tube which has all the information related to the foundation printed on the front as well as back of the tube. I really like how this foundation is packed in a sleek tube which makes us very easier to carry along with us even in small space. It has black twist open cap which closes tightly.

The foundation tube has a sleek nozzle which enables us to control the amount of product coming out without wasting it. Overall I loved the packaging of the foundation it’s cute compact and most important travel friendly.

This foundation is available in just 8 shades and I am reviewing the last shade of this foundation which is 108 Caramel Beige. The shades available in this range currently is very limited and the last shade also has a neutral undertone and is 2 shades light for my Nc42 skin tone. Dusky beauties may not find their perfect match in this range, I hope loreal introduces more shades here too.

This shade Caramel Beige looks ashy on my face so I have to mix a darker shade of other foundations to make this work for my complexion.

The foundation has a very mild typical foundation like fragrance which is not bothersome at all and disappears quickly.

The texture of the foundation is thick and spreads easily on my skin. The foundation need to be blended very fast as it sets into a matte finish very quickly. I like to apply this foundation with my foundation blending brush as I find that it is easier to blend with a brush more flawlessly and evenly rather than beauty blender.

Also the foundation is pigmented and the coverage it provides is medium to buildable. Sometimes for achieving no makeup look I apply it with my fingers. When layering this foundation it does not look patchy and it does get blend quite easily if blends fast before it sets.

The foundation is extremely mattifying so it’s a boon for oily skin especially in summers. I always apply a good moisturiser despite having oily skin as it makes the blending process easier and quick. Dry skin girls will need a good hydrating cream prior applying this foundation to avoid any patches. The foundation does not settles into my open pores and under the fine lines of my eyes.

The foundation stays on my oily skin for about 6 hours without any touchup I did apply a good setting powder and my skin was matte for good amount of time also my t zone was not oily at longer period of time.

MBF Advises

  1. If you have extremely dry flaky skin then apply a good hydrating primer to get the best out of it.
  2. Also if you are Nc42 and above don’t buy this as the shades will not be your perfect match and you may end up wasting your hard earned money.
  3. Oily skin girls will love this as it keeps your skin matte for longer period of time also in humid weather.
  4. This is available at a good discount on Nykaa currently so go grab it.
