L’Oreal Infallible Shaping Stick Foundation Review, Swatches: Hi Girls, Today I am reviewing a newly launched product from Loreal named as Loreal Infalliable Stick Foundation. I have used Loreal’s Infalliable liquid foundation and I loved it. So the moment I saw this foundation on nykaa, I grabbed it Asap as it was affordable too as compared to their liquid one.

I did not seen any shade card, nor I researched about the shades on google. Since it was new, there were no reviews on youtube as well. I blindly went for the shade darkest, so I ended up buying wrong shade. To know more about this newly launched stick foundation read on my views below.

How To Use L’Oreal Infallible Shaping Stick Foundation

Foundation: Choose your perfect shade and apply the makeup to your entire face, blend for a smooth, even application. Build desired coverage from medium to full coverage.

Highlight and brighten: To highlight your features, choose a shade 1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone. Apply to cheekbones, bridge of nose and under eyes to accentuate features and brighten.

Contour: Draw lines on the top of your forehead, under your cheek bones, and over your jaw lines to slim down features and add definition.

In Detail L’Oreal Infallible Shaping Stick Foundation Review, Swatches and My Experience

Loreal Infallible stick foundation comes wrapped in a thin polythene with a sticker glued on it which mentions its price, quantity as well as expiry. Once removed the information is also gone. I didn’t liked its outer packaging at all as it can damage the stick in transit.

The actual stick foundation comes in a bulky retractable stick. It has fewer information printed on it. The foundation stick has a shut lock cap and the shade name and number is printed on the top of the cap. Overall I find the packaging of it average nothing to be excited about. But the stick is sturdy and is travel friendly as well.

This stick foundation from Loreal is available in just 5 shades. I ordered the shade without looking at the shade card and accidentally, as usual ordered two shades darker foundation for my skin. I should have ordered the shade 200 honey but ordered 210 cappuccino. The later shade will suit girls with skin tone nc45 and above.

But I make it work with strongly highlighting high points of my face with a brightening concealer to make it work. And it that way it works perfect and sometime I also use it as a color corrector and apply it under my eye as well as around my mouth as I have darkness there.

The texture of this stick foundation is very creamy. I always thought that stick foundations are for oily skin girls as they are way to matte like kryolan tv paint stick and many others. But this stick proved me wrong.

Its so creamy and melts onto the skin like butter while applying directly from the stick. I apply this directly by making strokes all over my face and neck, and than I blend it using my Pac foundation buffing brush. I had also applied it with a beauty blender but I did not get the maximum coverage out of it.

It glides on my face so smoothly and gets blended really very easily without looking patchy. The finish it provides is dewy and it is definitely not for girls with extremely oily skin as I have especially in summers. My dry skinned beauties will love using this stick foundation. For oily skin girls it will be best to be worn in winter season.

The coverage it provides is medium coverage, while applying with brush and also the coverage depends on what tool you are using to blend it. The foundation is so oily for my skin that I cant even imagine layering it up, but it will build up the coverage if layered twice.

The foundation is quite long lasting. If you apply a lot of foundation, it stays longer with setting powder and fixing spray. When I apply a light layer with a natural coverage it tends to lose its freshness and starts fading.

The foundation does transfer to tissue paper and on phone screen I noticed. If you sweat a lot it transfers like I do. I have acne prone skin and this foundation hasn’t broken me out so far.
