Hello everyone, I have already reviewed the L’Oreal Professionnel X-Tenso Care Nutri-Reconstructor shine serum and the L’Oreal Professionnel X-Tenso Care Nutri-Reconstructor Masque. I have been loving this line and I am hereby going to share with you my experience with the shampoo from the same range.

In Detail L’Oreal Professionnel X-Tenso Care Nutri-Reconstructor Shampoo Review and My Experience

The shampoo comes in a packaging which is pretty similar to the corresponding products from the same range which are reviewed on the blog ie. the masque and the shine serum. Sturdy, white, opaque, plastic bottle with a flip open top. Quite convenient to use I must say. Its a pearly white shampoo with a silky creamy consistency. It has a slight fruity smell, nothing very pleasing but it does not bother me either.

How I use it
I use approximately a coin sized amount for my hair and work it into a lather. It does give a rich lather. I like to massage my scalp for 1-2 minutes with the shampoo making sure my roots are cleaned properly. Then I wash it off with normal water. I rinse my hair properly making sure no shampoo is left behind.

I find that this cleanses my hair very nicely leaving no trace of impurity behind. Makes my hair squeaky clean and at the same time does not make them look super dry. The best part is, it calms down the frizz in my hair like no other shampoo has ever done in the past. My hair looks tamed down with 95% less frizz. It completely makes my frizzy hair behave like good manes. It provides shine to my hair and makes them soft and silky. I mostly follow up with the masque and the serum however, even when I don’t use those, my hair still feels healthy.

To put it in a nutshell, I am in love with this shampoo. It does contain sulfates but it has given me awesome results. Taming down my frizzy hair is a blessing and I am thankful to L’oreal for coming up with an amazing product like this.

2. For chemically treated hair, this shampoo works great
3. Always work the shampoo on your scalp near the roots
4. Do not rub your hair while shampooing

Will I repurchase this?

Of course I will, unless I find something better. 😀
