How To Use L’Oreal Pure Clay Anti Blemish Blue Mask

The L’Oreal anti blemish blue mask is packed in a blue colored paper package with all the important details printed on back as well as front of the box. The actual mask is pored in a beautiful glass jar which looks very luxe and the amount we are paying for the mask and the quality of the packaging is very appreciable.

The glass jar has a blue color lid to it and also it has a white color inner lid to protect the mask to spill out from the jar. The glass jar is little bulky for me to carry it while travelling as I am not the person to likes to carry such bulky products. Hence, according to me it’s definitely not travel friendly but I love the packaging of this face mask and all the mask in this pure clay range from L’Oreal.

The mask has a very mild fragrance and does it does not bother me much and also the. face mask is blue in color.

The consistency of the mask is thick and creamy. It has a spreadable texture and does not require a lot of time to cover my face and neck. Though it is a clay based mask I was surprised by seeing its creamy texture.

The mask claims that it unclogs. pores and impurities removes blackhead controls oil and keeps skin fresh I have all the problem mentioned above so that was the main reason I purchased this mask.

How I Use it

I washed my face with face wash and applied toner. Then I applied a thick layer of clay mask with the help of my fingers. It felt so smooth and gave a cooling sensation in the beginning. As the mask dries, my skin felt firm and tight. After almost 15 minutes I washed my face with plain water. The mask came out easily but I prefer applying this before bath as it can create a mess in a wash basin.

Effects

After washing my face felt extremely bright and moisturised. I have oily skin, although this is a clay based mask, it did not strip off the essential moisture from my skin. I also noticed that my skin was smoother and softer, and much radiant. It also did some mild exfoliation and detoxified my skin very well.

It also claims that it helps in removing blackheads. But honestly I have not seen any reduction in my blackheads or whiteheads.

In a gist, I am enjoying using this mask quite a a lot. Upon using this mask, my skin definitely feels considerably cleaner and softer. ALso my skin tone is noticeably more even toned.

However, although this is an anti blemish mask, I have not seen any lightening or fading of my scars or blemishes whatsoever.

I will preferably go for the Charcoal one rather than purchasing this as it just helps in purifying, Mattifying and brightening skin.

It does absolutely nothing to blackheads or blemishes.
