L’Oreal Revitalift 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review: Hi guys, let’s talk about the allegedly No. 1 skin serum in the United States of America. First and foremost, I just want to take a moment here and thank the drugstore brands for finally coming up with more affordable ingredient centric products. Like gone are the days when they would make a thousand claims how an xyz product’s going to make your skin smooth like a baby’s butt, but when you look at the ingredients, its full of chemicals you’ve never heard of.

I always look for products which hero one ingredient or may be a couple of them rather than products which have an undefined mixture of a lot of ingredients. Because with one or two hero ingredients, I know what I can expect and I can specifically target my problem areas. For eg. This particular ingredient, Hyaluronic Acid when used right works excellent for dry skin types (although this can be used by almost all skin types). So I proactively purchased this serum for giving my skin that extra boost of hydration.

By the way, did anyone see the TV commercial for this serum? The way Aditi Rao Hydari saya HA-YA-LU-RO-NIC ACID just made me uncomfortable for some reason. What did you guys feel?

In the video, I have given an in-depth review and usage experience. I have talked about the ingredients break down, the types of concentration of hyaluronic acids in the serum as well as the other filler and non essential ingredients in there. Please make sure to concentrate when I talk about the right way to use hyaluronic acid serums on the skin.

I have also covered the truth behind the No. 1 ranking and the criteria behind it. If you have anymore questions or suggestions or any thing else that you’d like to say to me, please take a moment to comment and I will answer as soon as possible. 🙂

PROs of L’Oreal Revitalift 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum

  1. Sleek packaging, looks pretty on the vanity counter.
  2. Works like it claims.
  3. Free of fragrances, alcohols and most other unnecessary filler ingredients.
  4. Should be good for all skin types but works the best for skin in need of hydration.
  5. Not super costly (Commonly available at discounts).
  6. Easily available.

CONs of L’Oreal Revitalift 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum

  1. Glass bottle is prone to breakage so be careful.
  2. Can irritate the skin if you do not use it properly (Watch my video above, I’ve explained how to use it properly for maximum benefits.)

MBF Advises

I cannot stress enough how important hydration is for the skin. Hyaluronic acid is the new star in the B(eauty) town but there is a lack of information about its usage. So I have seen a lot of people complain about how this caused irritation or made them skin even more dry. Remember the key is to use it right.

Never forget to do a patch test whenever you try any new product. Even if you have used a hyaluronic acid serum from a different brand before, do a patch test. Because besides HA, the other ingredients the product may not be exactly the same. So while you may be okay with HA, you need to make sure your skin is okay with the other ingredients as well.
