Lotus Makeup Colorkick Insta Shine Liquid Eyeliner Review, Swatches: Hello Beauties! After reviewing the Lotus Proedit foundation from Lotus Makeup, today I am reviewing another new launched liquid eyeliner. It is named as Lotus Makeup Colorkick Insta Shine Liquid Liner. I bought this the day it was launched. Its been few months, and since than I am using it. I am ready to give my opinions on it now.
I am actually not a liquid eye liner person I like to line my eyelids with a gel liner and sometimes a kohl pencil. Because according to me liquid liners become a little messy if you are not good at it. Hence, I try to avoid it as much as possible.
So coming back to the review before lotus had launched their Lotus color kick kajal which I love. So, that is the reason I purchased this liquid eyeliner. To know how this lotus color kick insta shine liner fared to me please keep on reading my views below.

In Detail Lotus Makeup Colorkick Insta Shine Liquid Eyeliner Review, Swatches and My Experience
Firstly and most importantly lets talk about its packaging. This lotus colorkick insta shine liquid eyeliner comes wrapped in a thin plastic. The actual liner is placed in a tiny glass bottle which is black in color and has lotus and range name printed on it. It has a long white cap which bears a white sticker and that sticker has its price name etc printed on it.
It has a twist open mechanism which closes tightly and can be carried around easily. The brush of this liquid liner is long. So it helps you to have more control on your hands while you create winged liner. You can easily create thin lines or thick lines using this brush. Overall I like its packaging its simple and nothing too fancy.
This eyeliner comes in just one shade that is black which I am reviewing today. They should also launch blue and brown colored eyeliners I feel.
The pigmentation of this eyeliner is very good. It is amazingly pigmented and in just one stroke it gives very opaque finish as you can see in my swatch pictures.
The texture of the eyeliner is very liquid-y. Because of its very liquid-y consistency, it becomes very hard for me to line my eyelids with it. When I apply it without removing the excess of it from the brush it spreads all over my lower lash line.
Once it also entered into my eyes and it stung my eyes very badly. I had to remove all my makeup because of it and redo. So be careful while applying it.
Also it takes a lot of time to dry and I had to keep my eyes closed for five minutes to let it dry completely.
The finish it provides is glossy. Somehow I do not like such glossy eyeliners. I like my eyeliners to give me a intense black matte look. If I had read its claims before buying it, probably I would have not purchased it. Beacause I do not purchase glossy finish eyeliner. Since I picked this so I have to finish it.
The staying power of this eyeliner is about 3 to 4 hours without rubbing it. If it is rubbed, it will vanish! I have also included a picture of it I have lightly rubbed it and it came off completely.
So avoid rubbing you eyes or splashing water on your face because as lotus claimed it is not smudge proof or water proof.

MBF Advises
I love to try different products and mostly I prefer a water proof liner, so I am not sure about repurchase. But if you want a good pigmented glossy liner then it is a nice budget friendly option for you.

I know it is a bad habit but it tend to rub my eyes a lot. And this liner could spell disaster for me.
