LUSH Kalamazoo Beard and Facial Wash Review: This one is for the bearded men in your life, but that doesn’t mean you cant use it. I love beards and stubbles on men, and never ever let my husband shave off his facial hair completely, but sometimes the beard can feel like bristles against your skin when you lean in for a kiss or a cuddle. Beards can get a little bit prickly and need a bit of grooming to maintain. I was browsing at my local lush store with my husband when I came across this beard/facial wash.

LUSH Kalamazoo Beard and Facial Wash Review

Just sniffing it once was enough for my minimalistic husband to agree on buying it and that he would give it a try. I cant risk buying anything from lush without knowing that I will finish and love the product, so I was glad when I read that its not just a beard wash but a facial wash as well and that you don’t need a beard to use it.

About LUSH Kalamazoo Beard and Facial Wash

Keep things bright and bushy with this creamy wash for furry faces. Fresh pineapple juice is full of enzymes to cleanse the skin as well as zap away dirt and oil, while almond oil, jojoba oil and cupuaçu butter soften and tame even the most unruly beard. With the light citrusy scent of Brazillian orange oil and a super soft feel, your beard’ll in fact have more admirers than ever before!

In Detail LUSH Kalamazoo Beard and Facial Wash Review and My Experience

The product comes in a classic lush black recycled and recyclable pot, with a screw on lid. I bought the smallest pot i.e 100 gm. It has stickers around the pot, on how to use, ingredients list as well as tips.

The product is of a smooth, thick, creamy texture. Frothy white in color. You know when you smell/eat something you love. You take a deep inhale, close your eyes and savour the flavour/scent and exhale with a sigh and hmmmm… that’s how exactly heavenly aroma this has. The scent is everything. Refreshing, slightly citrusy with a strong pineapple scent, which we both love!

This is a great cleanser for non furry faces as well. I have been using it 2-3 times a week and been loving how my face feels afterwards.

You only need a little, scoop it out, massage onto wet face with your fingertips. I like to leave it on for a minute or so and rinse off, pat dry.

it leaves the skin baby soft, refreshed ,hydrated and bright. Its great as a morning wash but also great to use at the end of the day as its great as a makeup remover as well. It’s a deep cleanser but does not overly dry out my skin.

Although the pot says that the product lathers, it does not. It feels like you are spreading some kind of Thick moisturiser on your face. The creamy wash spreads on easily and is easy to rinse off, does not leave your face squeaky clean that’s how you know it is also moisturising.

My husband who usually use a soap or shower gel to wash his face has been spending extra few minutes by reaching for this and using it daily. That’s how much he loves it and that’s his whole skin care routine.

He mostly sports a medium beard and a moustacheI gave a few facial sessions to him when I first bought it and noticed the difference in the first wash.

His beard felt softer and smelt delicious afterwards. In fact, he has been using it every single morning for over 2 months now. His beard has a healthy shine and I just cant resist stroking his face. Its moisturising for his beard as well as does not leave the hair dry, feels as if it has an inbuilt moisturiser.

He has touched the bottom of the pot and has been reminding me to buy him another pot of it.

This left our faces a little dry in the harsh winters, but works fine as the weather has warmed up a bit. I always follow up with a moisturiser but my husband does not and has no complaint of dry skin.

Love the divine scent that lingers more on his scruffy face than mine.
