How to Use LUSH Marilyn Hair Treatment

Apply to dry hair, leave on for 20 minutes, then shampoo out.

Fill a mug with boiling water (leaving a little space at the top) and simply stir in your hot oil treatment until it has completely melted. Allow the treatment to cool for 20 minutes before applying to dry hair. Sit back and relax for 20 minutes before shampooing out.

Made too much? Keep in the bathroom for a moisture top up as often as you need for up to 4 weeks.

In Detail LUSH Marilyn Hair Treatment Review, Swatches and My Experience

The product comes in a black classic lush tub .this product only comes in a 7.9oz (225gm) huge tub which I was a little hesitant to buy.

The product is a Shiny, creamish yellow almost like a melted banana color. The product was a little bit thicker in the winter months but got a little runny during the hot months.

The only thing I dint do was smell the product before I bought it because I hate the scent, it’s a strong almost bitter scent of chamomile, it almost makes me gag.

But anything for healthy hair, I still used up the whole tub,  I would use this as a mask once every two weeks or when my hair felt dry, brittle and If I noticed brassy tones building up.

I scoop out some with my finger tips and Apply this on dry hair, 20 minutes before washing them. wear a shower cap with all my hair bundled up on top of my head and leave it. I would occasionally use a blow dryer and blow a lil bit of heat on the shower cap, as heat makes the product penetrate in the hair shaft more easily.

After  20 minutes rinse, shampoo and condition as usual. I would skip conditioning when I used this mask.

It makes my hair really soft, The scent doesnot linger as you shampoo it out, Only have to bear the scent for 20mins which I don’t mind. Leaves my hair Luscious, Manageable and Blonder. It takes my hair from dead straw like to shiny,soft ,bouncy, blonde hair.

On the labels it says to cover hair in thick coating, you can do that if you want but if you have long, thick hair like me the tub wont last you for more than 2 uses.

I get a little stingy and only scoop some out with my finger tips and finger comb through my hair, also does the trick and the tub lasts longer.

I even leave this hair treatment sometimes as an overnight conditioner and loved the results after washing off in the morning. Making sure I got the worth for the price I paid for the conditioner.

This conditioner over all improves the quality of hair and is for both naturally blondes and bleached blondes.

1. If you have balayage or the hair color has moved down, you only need to apply the mask where the color is.
2. After applying the mask, pile the hair up on your head and wear a shower cap to avoid mess.
3. Also you can use a blow dryer to provide some heat, by blowing heat on the shower cap.
4. It can also be used as an overnight leave in mask.
