In Detail LUSH Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb Review, Demo and My Experience

The bath bomb comes in a paper packaging. Before this version , they had a white version of the same bath bomb previous years, but this year the bath bomb is Pink on the top and white on the bottom. The bomb is a beautiful pink and white colored bomb, shaped like a heart with 7 rose buds in each.

The bomb has a faint floral smell to it and it smells like roses. I was a little disappointed as the smell wasn’t strong enough from the dry bomb, meaning I wouldn’t have an in my face scent from the bath water. Still I picked it up as it looked so cute and perfect for making our in-house valentines day more romantic.

How it worked

I filled the bathtub and tossed the bath bomb, it was a quick, fast paced fizzer. It was gone under a minute, giving the satisfying fizzing sound and it started fizzing out the rose buds embedded in it one by one.

The bath water was left light pink in color with the rose buds floating on the surface. The rose buds and rose extract and oil are from the rose absolute from turkey and are the light pink roses famous for their calming and soothing properties.

These are actual rose buds, so they dint melt or disintegrate and only floated around. Some of them slightly opened after soaking in the water. The rest didn’t so I pulled apart the petals. But these are dried rose buds and so while only the few petals that touched the water got back to their normal form the petals inside were still dry.

The bath water had very faint smell of roses. The bath bomb does not do much like other bath bombs from lush. I enjoyed my bath experience and my skin was left soft and smooth, very lightly perfumed with the rose scent that lingered for over 5 hours. Don’t forget to use a catcher when you drain the tub or you will clog up the drain.

MBF Advises

1. You can increase the quality of experience of the bath by making a bath cocktail, add in similar scented products for more perfumed bath. I added in few squirts of rose jam shower gel which shares the smell of the bath bomb.
