My love for eye makeup has made me experiment with different colors and create different looks. By now I have a huge collection of eye makeup products out of which 90% is by MAC. MAC keeps launching a lot of eye shadow palettes in their collection sets which are available for a limited time period only.

A wonderful palette of 15 warm shades perfect for creating day to evening look. It is a pre filled palette which once over cannot be re filled. The pans of the palette cannot be pulled out. The palette is travel friendly. The eye shadow lasts long if applied on a primed eye lid. This palette is not limited to a specific texture. It has a combination of various textures i.e. Veluxe pearl, satin, frost, velvet, matte, luster. Let’s get into its details

HEY

(VELUXE PEARL)

It is described as “metallic coral”. It is a medium beige color with a pearly finsh. At times I use it as a highlighter at the brow bone and the inner corner of the eyes. The color pay off is not that good but anyways can be built up. It is a repromoted shade i.e. once was part of the collection.

WARM BREEZE

(SATIN)

It is described as “pastel coral”. It is a soft peachish color with very tiny glitter particles in it. I like to use it again as a highlighter. The color pay off is medium.

GINGERSNAP

(FROST)

It is described as “rosy pink”. It is combination of red and pink with a metallic finish. In terms of pigmentation it is excellent. It is a perfect color for day makeup.

DARK BREW

(VELVET)

It is described as “brown-burgundy with pink pearl”. This one is my favourite shade and I use this on almost all my eye makeups. It is a reddish- brown burgundy color with very tiny pink glitter particles in it. I use it for eye contouring and creating soft smokey eyes. It is not highly pigmented but works amazingly for me.

DANCE IN THE DARK

(MATTE)

It is described as “grayish brown”. This is a re promoted product. It’s a highly pigmented dark grey brown matte eye shadow perfect for the smokey look. At times when my eye brow pencil is over I use this shade and it gives that perfect look. But remember to use less quantity. It can also be used on the lower and upper lash line.

BRULE

(SATIN)

It is described as “creamy off- white”. A beautiful off white color with very less sheen. Can be used as a highlighter and create soft smokey eyes. This shade is easily available as it is a part of the permanent range.

VANILLA EXTRACT

(FROST)

It is described as “beige with yellow tone”. Nice beige color with very tiny gold glitter particles. I hardly use this shade. The pigmentation is very disappointing. It takes a lot of effort for building up its color.

HONEY LUST

(LUSTRE)

It is described as “peachy bronze”. Honey Lust is a beautiful shimmery peachy bronze color. Perfect for those evening party looks. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that it has a lot of fall outs. To control those fall outs I use a flat eye shadow brush to apply it and after loading the product on the brush I spray mac fix+ on it. The eye shadow need to be built up.

AMBER LIGHTS

(FROST)

It is described as “bronze gold” color with excellent color pay off from their permanent range of products. Amber Lights is one of the MAC’s hot selling products. It suits all skin types. This is a color that every bride should have in her trousseau. A perfect color to go with the ethnic clothing.

SADDLE

(MATTE)

It is described as “soft rust” from the permanent range of products. It is an orange brown color good for day look and perfect as a transition color.

LEMON TARTE

(VELUXE PEARL)

It is described as “lemon gold”. It is a pastel yellow color with a metallic finish and excellent color pay off.

CREATIVE COPPER

(LUSTRE)

MAC describes it as “copper gold”. Creative Copper has tiny shine particles in it which makes it a beautiful shade. It has medium color intensity. A perfect shade for soft smokey eye look. This one is a re promoted color.

BUTTERFUDGE

(SATIN)

Butterfudge is described as “neutral brown”. It is a soft brown with gold glitters in it. It has a disappointing color pay off.

DIVINE DECADENCE

(VELVET)

It is described as “bronze”. A bronze color with tones of orange and red in it with those perfect glitter particles. Again, it is a re promoted shade.

UNWIND

(VELUXE PEARL)

It is described as “olive”. It is a dirty olive color with gold glitter in it.

To show how they look I have created a few looks.

Wonderful palette to buy for creating day to evening look. For girls with fair skin tone all shades are useful but dusky skin girls might find some colors not useful.
