I presently own three shades from the MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lip color range and have been thoroughly satisfied about the excellent shade and quality of them. I love the beautiful names that these lipsticks carry. To start with the packaging of the liquid lip color, the lipstick comes in a transparent tube with a black colored lid.

The lid had MAC written on it and screws open to reveal a beautiful wand that has a soft oval shaped foot. I generally face the fear of the lip color appearing cakey because of too much application of the lip color.

But the wand is so beautifully designed to squeeze out the excess product, outline the lips with the sharp oval edge and fill the slips with the flat foot of it and you are good to go. Alternatively, you can also use a thin lip liner brush to outline the lips or use a lip pencil to outline and then fill in the product.

If you love pinks, this is one of the most beautiful striking pink you should have in your kitty which is lighter than Mac All Fired up. Its super bright and also, completely matte. It feels extremely light on application and stays intact until removed without any kind of bleeding.

It does transfer very-very slightly when you drink something but that does not fade the color away from the lips at all. The one thing that I love about this lipstick is that there is no need of re application at all. In fact, for events where we do not want to touch up and just enjoy I prefer these lipsticks.

Also the best part is that it does not settle between the lines and your lips do not appear dry at all. The lip color can be easily removed at the end of the day with any decent make up remover and the color comes off well.

For girls with pigmented lips, the MAC liquid lip colors are truly a boon. The color is suitable for all complexions and can be carried off easily at both day and night.
