Makeup Revolution I Heart Chocolate Rose Gold EyeShadow Palette Review, Swatches: Hello Guys! I picked up couple of products from Makeup Revolution as it was on great discount on hokmakeup and flipkart. I really enjoy shopping from them as they provide good discounts on makeup revolution products. I am not an eyeshadow person. Because I do not apply eyeshadows on a daily basis. I only use it on a very special occasions. I also don’t purchase them until and unless I am attracted to the shades or its packaging. Today I am reviewing a eyeshadow palette from Makeup Revolution called I Heart Makeup Chocolate Rose Gold Eyeshadow palette.

When I first saw it I was in love with its packaging I wanted to get it and though I went on browsing about this palette and I came to know that it is said to be the dupe of TOO FACED CHOCOLATE BAR PALETTE look wise and shades wise it is said to be a close dupe for the most hyped HUDA BEAUTY ROSE GOLD TEXTURED PALETTE. Therefore, without any second thoughts, I added it in my cart. I am also not good at doing eye makeup so please bare with my makeup photos. In Detail Makeup Revolution I Heart Chocolate Rose Gold EyeShadow Palette Review, Swatches and My Experience

The packaging of this Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Chocolate Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette is drop dead gorgeous. Its packaging was the first thing which attracted me, and made me buy this beauty. The palette looks like a half melted chocolate bar which I adore. The case this palette comes in is very luxurious and of a good quality material. It is definitely travel friendly as the packaging is very sturdy and stiff.

The palette comes with a full size mirror which is a plus point, it also has a dual ended sponge which comes in every eyeshadow palette it is useless for me at least.

This eyeshadow palette has 16 beautiful eyeshadow shades. In these, 8 are matte and 8 are pearl or glittery. I really love the shades in the palette because all the shades are suitable for my skin tone. I have dusky skin, all the shades compliment my skin tone very well. I have tried my best to explain all the shades in detail. So lets see below.

Numbering the shades for reference as they have not been given any names.

1) The first color is a very beautiful beige color with golden reflects in it, it also can be used as a brow bone highlighter.
2) Second shade is dark olive green colour with a little brownish hint to it.
3) Third is a very beautiful metallic cranberry color.
4) Fourth is true golden color which I have used in my eye makeup – golden and black eye look.
5) This is a very pretty rose pink shimmery shade though it does not appear that pigmented when applied on eyes.

6) It is a very beautiful rose gold color with a hint of copper shade in it.
7) It is a light pink color with a dash of golden particles to it.
8) 8th is a true bronze color I really like this shade as well.
9) It is a matte warm muave-y pink color.
10) 10th is a same colour as 9th but it is more neutral and lighter than that 9th shade.

11) Very beautiful light baby pink color but it is little patchy and chalky.
12) It is a very beautiful taupe color used as a transition shade and I also sometimes use to fill in my eyebrows.
13) Warm chocolaty brown color with a hint of orange in it.
14) Matte dark cranberry shade.
15) Burnt orange color.
16) Bone color I use it to set my eyeshadow with it.

Pigmentation of these eyeshadows are quite impressive but there are 2 or 3 matte shades that appears patchy and are less pigmented than others. For the pearly and glittery shadows I will suggest that it is best to be apply them with fingers instead of a brush. Because when applied with fingers, it will give more pigmentation.

I applied it at 6 at evening and it was intact by 12. It did not fade or smudge. The staying power of the shadows in general impressed me a lot. The shimmery shades are patchy avoid using them on the crease. Also, try to use a primer underneath.

If you cannot invest your 4000 or 5000 bucks on an eyeshadow palette like me (I am pointing towards the huda beauty palette); you can buy this palette. Its on budget and of decent quality. It has mixture of warm pinks and mauves which are a lot in trend for eye makeup looks.
