In Detail Makeup Revolution Protection Palette Review, Swatches and My Experience

Makeup Revolution Protection Palette comes in a matte black cardboard box packaging with every necessary information printed on it in white and bronze. The inner palette comes in a shiny black sleek packaging with shut lock lid. This makes it easier for carrying along without any risk. There is a full size mirror in the palette. The packaging is very sturdy and will not break if dropped accidentally.

The MUR protection palette comes in a total of 4 shades. For every skin tone that is Light, Light\Medium, Medium and Dark. I accidentally ordered the wrong shade. Because I have medium skin tone, I was going to order Medium shade but somehow I ordered Light/Medium. The concealer provided in this palette is very light for my skin tone. Hence I do not use the concealers for my face. I use it as an eyeshadow base to cover the pigmentation of my eyelids and pop up the colour of the eyeshadow.

Concealers

The texture of the concealers are very creamy and not dry at all. Once we dip in the fingers, it melts like butter. It gives an even application without looking patchy. The best way to apply the concealer is with fingers because of the warmth of body makes the blending process much easier.

Compact Powder

Texture of the compact powder is very powdery. When I swirl my brush into it, the powder gets all over the palette creating a mess. When I apply the powder it gets stuck into one place and looks patchy and caky. Hence blending it thoroughly and properly is very important.

Bronzer and Blush

The texture of the bronzer and blush is powdery as well but not as powdery as the compact powder is. The blush gives very subtle wash of colour to my cheeks without looking made up. It gives very natural look on my cheeks. The bronzer provided in it gives very nice and subtle contoured face without looking very stark.

Highlighter

The highlighter is very less pigmented amongst all the four products. But it is good for day time usage because it does not look too much on my skin. The staying power is really amazing. All the product stays on my skin for good 5 hours without fading. I am so in love with this palette.

Overall Verdict

Makeup Revolution Protection Palette is a must have in every girls makeup collection. It contains concealer, compact, bronzer and highlighter which can come really handy while travelling. I love this palette and will surely buy again once I am done with this. The palette is worth every penny.
