In Detail Masaba By Nykaa Lipstick Nimbu Pani Review, Swatches and My Experience
The masaba lipstick nimbu pani comes packed in a bright blue rectangular cardboard box with fewer information printed on it. It has pictures of lemons printed all over the cardboard box which looks quite fun, unique as well as attention grabbing.
The actual lipsticks also has the same bright blue with lemon prints all over its cap. The twister part of the lipstick is of metallic golden color. Overall I really loved its packaging.
The only drawback of this packaging is that the cap is made up of thick paper and not plastic, so the cap tends to bend when we apply pressure. It can also be carried along easily without any hesitation of spoilage or anything of that sorts.
These lipsticks are available in 12 shades and are given very amazing and fun names like buzz kill, Kale-ing me softly, you croc-my world etc. The shade I am reviewing today is named as Nimbu Pani which is said to be the best shade of nude from the entire collection.
Nykaa X Masaba Gupta Lipstick – Nimbu Pani
This is a very beautiful brownish peach kind of a shade but a little darker. On my nc42 skin tone it looks amazing as a nude but if you are fairer than nc42 it will be a little dark for you. In simple words it is a very beautiful universally flattering shade.
The texture of the lipstick is very creamy and it glides on my lips like butter. It does not pulls or tugs my lips while applying. If you have used Mac’s satin lipsticks, the formula feels exactly same of this nimbu paani shade.
Pigmentation of all shades is different some are decently pigmented and some are not that pigmented. Like shade rawr, cool guy has to be applied multiple times to get the maximum pigmentation out of it.
Hence the shade Nimbu Pani is well pigmented, in my hand swatch picture I have just swiped it once and you can see the opacity of it. I have applied two swipes of it to get the best out of it.
Lastly, the staying power of this lipstick is pretty average. Since it is creamy in texture it transfers to cups and cutlery and tends to fade a little resulting in disappearance of the lipstick from the lips. It also did not leave any stain on my lips whatsoever.

Cons Of Masaba By Nykaa Lipstick In Nimbu Paani
1) Needs two swipes on lips for more pigmentation.
2) Transfers a lot.
3) Doesn’t stays for too long on my lips.
1) I will suggest you to go through all shades and their reviews on internet and than go and purchase it as most of them especially the lighter shades are on the sheerer side.
2) I would also suggest to skip purchasing these masaba lipsticks if you’re on a budget, as they are not that pigmented or long lasting.
3) These are fun to try out, but not a must have essential. Also, cost too much for the quality they are. There are a lot of lipsticks available in Indian market which are of a very good quality at similar or lesser rates.
