In Detail Maybelline Color Sensational Diamonds EyeShadow Palette Topaz Gold Review, Swatches
These eye shadows come in a little black palette which looks super cute. The outer cardboard box has all information pertaining to the product including a step by step guide to apply the eyeshadows. They have provided a tiny applicator which i’ll be honest and say isn’t meant for regular use. These little applicators however come in really handy in case of emergencies when you can’t find a brush. Its compact size makes it easy to be carried around even in very small sized purses or handbags.
These eyeshadows are beautifully pigmented. They give a really good colour pay off even without an eye primer. Their texture is really smooth. The shimmers are really finely milled and they really enhance the look without being overpowering. Although some shades like the “3” and “4” are super shimmery, I didn’t notice any fall out except only while I was applying.
The shades are so pretty and very appropriate for events or parties. I specially picked up the gold one because I love golden/copper/bronze smokey eyes and I thought it would be fun with this palette. These eye shadows are pretty long staying. It lasted on me for around 4-5 hours without a primer and without creasing. After 5 hours it started creasing a little. With an eye primer, they lasted for more than 6 hours which I was really impressed with. However if you are going to be sweating, the stay time would decrease a little. The eye shadow has to be removed properly with a good quality makeup remover or else it doesn’t come off easily.

Shades in Maybelline Diamonds EyeShadow Palette Topaz Gold
I have numbered the shades as shown in the picture for the sake of convenience. We would talk about them one by one.
Shade No. 1 Its a lovely pearl-beige coloured shimmery shade. I believe this is meant for highlighting. All the 4 variants of these palettes have the lightest shade positioned at the No. 1 spot.
Shade No. 2 is a gorgeous copper-brown bronzy Olive shade with lots of bronze shimmers in it. Its super pigmented like others and is probably my most favourite shade in the palette.
Shade No. 3 is a beautiful copper hinted gold eye shadow with loads of very fine golden shimmers. This is my personal favourite shade in this palette.
Shade No. 4 is the 2nd lightest shade and its light champagne gold. This is the top coat in the palette for the 3D effect they mentioned. Its super shimmery with light golden shimmers and looks very pretty. I specially love applying this on the inner corners of my eyes.
Shade No. 5 is meant to be applied along the lash lines as a eye liner shade specially when you are going for that beautiful smokey eye look. Its the darkest matte black shade with some sparse golden shimmer particles in it.
All these shade blend well. One can create some super shimmery looks. The matte black in this palette is a shade which can be used in so many different ways.

CONs of Maybelline Color Sensational Diamonds EyeShadow Palette Topaz Gold
1. I am not a big fan of the applicator.
2. There is a little fall out with the super shimmery shades, but only during application.
MBF Advices
1. Always use an eye primer if you want any eye shadow to last longer.
2. If your eye shadow has a lot of fall out, do the eye makeup before doing the face makeup.
3. Whenever you’re taking off a glittery eye shadow, use a good makeup remover to take out all the shimmers completely.
MBF Rating
4.5/5
You selected the best palette out of the four because I got the rose quartz pink but that’s not that great. Even blue sapphire and purple tourmaline aren’t so pretty like this one. Gold topaz is hands down the best shade palette by maybelline.
Rose quartz Pink and this one look like they have pretty similar shades.
