Hi my beautiful ladies,Maybelline is a brand, which I am pretty sure everyone loves. They have variety of products when it comes to make up. Their quality is unbeatable at very affordable rates. This is one drugstore brand that has a permanent place in my vanity.
For all those women who steer clear of lipsticks either due to the mess it creates or because it leaves your lips looking dry, here is a great product that promises to make you opt for the good old lipstick. The Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lip Color gives you a smooth and creamy-textured lipstick that easily glides over your lips without skipping or dragging to give your lips the crispest color. The luxurious feel of this Moisture Extreme Lip Color comes from the super emollient built-in lip balm that keeps your lips moist so they look full and luscious after applying color.
The shade Lustrous Lilac is a beautiful opaque color that complements women with wheatish skin tones. The revolutionary formula also contains SPF 15 that shields your lips from the damaging effects of the UV rays when you step into the sun. So slip the Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lip Color into your bag and dazzle it up with glamorous lips.
Directions for Use
Start from the centre of the upper lip and apply towards the outer edges.
Finish by gliding across the entire lower lip.
Sorry guys, there is no ingredient list mentioned on the packaging of this one, which is such a thumbs down!!
Price: 220 INR for 4 g of product.
As you can see, the packaging is classic dark rosy red in matt finish and it is silver on the inside. I feel the packaging is okay.
They have mentioned the details of the product at one end. I really like the fact that they have written the manufacture and expiry date. It helps so much especially for the beauties who have sensitive skin.
This lipstick has superb pigmentation. As you can see in the picture, even in single swatch, it gave me very good pigmentation. On 3-4 swatches, the colour does intensify and gives you a dramatic look. The lipstick has these really tiny shimmery particles in it, which become visible on your lips when you watch them closely. From a normal distance, they give you this shiny and glossy look, which I absolutely love.
The formula is really creamy and glides on to your lips like a dream. It moisturizes the lips well and doesn’t make them dry.
Now, the company claims that the formula is made to stay on for 8 hours as seen in magazines. But oh well, this lipstick stays on me for 3 hours, or may be 4 hours at maximum. If I eat something, then it wont stay even for this long. Though the tiny shimmers are still left behind.
After the lipstick wears off, I find I need to reach out for my lip balm or else my lips start feeling dry. Also, you need a good make up remover to take out the lipstick because the shimmers do not come off easily.
Overall I feel this is an average lipstick for the price. Nothing very out of the box. The only thing I like about it is the pigmentation, which is amazing, and the creamy formula.

3.Easy application and has a shiny, glossy effect due to the minute shimmers in it
