Hello ladies, how are you doing today?

Maybelline recently launched its Color Show Lipsticks in India in 27 different shades. I have already reviewed a handful and yet lo review the remaining that I bought a few days back. Now a lot of you have been asking me and sending me emails requesting a swatch post for these lipsticks. Because they have not yet arrived in stores, I do not have swatches of all of these as yet, however I promise as soon as they reach the stores, I will get my hands on all of them and review each. 🙂

In Detail Maybelline Color Show Lipsticks Review

Packaging
Maybelline Color Show Lipsticks come in a rather simple yet nice looking packaging. Its basically black but there is this rim of coloured rim in the middle which makes it look nice. Different shades have different coloured rims. I was super excited when I heard that maybelline is coming up with color show lipsticks! I ordered a handful of them and I have been trying them on since a few days now. The coloured rims actually indicate the parent shade of the lipsticks. For example, red rim indicates a shade of red and pink indicates shades in pink.

Formula and Texture
The formula of the lipstick is really moisturising, but it does not appear overly creamy or glossy on the lips. It glides on the lips like a dream and the texture is quite creamy and soft I would say. It does not stick which is a big plus point. It smells like candies which is why I love them super much. Out of the ones that I have tried so far, the Plum-Tastic contained some extremely fine microglitters in it. To check out the individual details of lipsticks, check out the individual reviews. Staying power
Maybelline Lipsticks have an average staying power of 3 to 4 hours. If you are eating anything, you would definitely need a touch up. Some shades which are deep may leave a stain behind but most won’t leave a stain behind. I guess its a thumbsup for the price tag!

Here are the swatches of the lipsticks that I currently have in my vanity. As promised, I will keep updating and review new shades. Pray that my beauty supply store soon gets all the shades. Till now they only had these seven 😀
