I love maybelline’s fit me range and hence when the moment this was launched I grabbed it as soon as possible.

I really love how maybelline is coming up with its so many good products here in India, the only thing I hope that they should come up with decent amount of shade selections like they do internationally. Ok, so without any further ado, lets read the review of this Skin fit powder Foundation from Maybelline.

In Detail Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation Review, Swatches and My Experience

Maybelline Fit Me Skin Fit Powder Foundation comes packed in a sleek rectangular black cardboard box with all the important information regarding the product printed on it. The actual powder foundation rests in a sleek rectangular compact case which is black in color and has maybelline logo and range name printed on it in blue. It looks really beautiful.

The compact case has a shut lock lid which closes tightly ensuring the product is travel friendly. The lid also has a full size mirror on it. On back of the case there are small holes. Those are for ventilation as there is a sponge which can be used wet.

There are two pans inside the compact case one is where the powder lies and another is for its sponge. I must say I really loved its packaging in terms of its quality. Its very sturdy and also feels very luxe. The sponge provided in that is of no use so the moment I got it I threw it away.

This skin fit powder foundation is available in 7 shades and the shade I got is the shade 310 Sun beige. The reason I picked this shade is that in maybelline liquid foundation my shade is Sun beige and Warm Honey; while in their matte plus poreless pressed powder my shade is sun beige. Hence, I thought even this is gonna look good. However, this is 2 shades lighter than my complexion, and the last shade that is Toffee is darker.

Therefore, my actual shade lies in somewhere between these both shades which aren’t available here. Girls with nc 40 skin tones this is your shade. I apply this over the foundation which is darker or to highlight my under eye area and in that way it works well.

The foundation powder has an amazing texture its smooth and fine. To my surprise it also does not have any fallouts when I swirl my brush or blender in it.

The coverage it imparts is sheer or I can say little more than that. It does helps me in evening out my skin but nothing more than that it does not covers light pimple marks or pigmentation. Also the coverage depends on the way you are applying it.

I tried applying it with a sponge provided in it to set my under eye concealer but it was looking patchy. I also tried it with my wet beauty blender but when I pressed the blender into the skin the powder just got stuck in one place and was not blending well.

So now, I always use this with my powder brush and in that manner it works well. It glides on smoothly and does not look patchy also applying it wet makes the powder more lighter and ashy.

The finish it provides is matte even on my oily skin when I am using it I make sure to moisturise my skin first with my indulgeo essential oil, for dry skinned girls apply a good hydrator and than apply this product.

It stays on my oily skin for good about 5 hours and after that I noticed that my nose and cheek area became little shiny, so I blotted my face with a tissue and than applied it lightly and I was good to go.

MBF Advises

The shades in this powder foundation is lighter compared to their liquid foundation. So make sure to get at least a shade darker than your usual pick.

Maybelline is always on sale so just keep your eyes peeled and wait for the sale if you want to try this out.

Will suggest dry skin girls to stay away from this or if you wanna try it out exfoliate and moisturise your skin properly prior using this.
