In Detail Maybelline V Face Blush Contour Pink Review, Swatches and My Experience
The blush comes in a black compact size packaging which has a clear lid on top of it. Hence it’s easy to identify the shades. It has all the necessary details and how to use the product written behind it. Also, it comes with its own brush applicator which is decent. It does not comes with its own inbuilt mirror. The palette has two blushes and one bronzer. All the products are in separate small cubes hence it is hard to pick the individual shades as you can see in the picture below.
Coming on to the shades they have three shades in this range first is peach, second one is pink and third one is brown.
Starting with the review, I got the shade pink which is a very bright pink blush. When I saw this I knew that this blush will suit girls with all complexions fair, medium or deep. Hence I went ahead and picked it up. The palette has three shades. The first one is a very light baby pink color, the second one is a bright pink shade and the third one Is a bronzer.
I find the bright pink shade and the bronzer working on me. The first shade is way too light and does not even show up on my complexion even after applying 7-8 times 😛 Coming on to the second shade, although it’s a bright shade but still I need to layer the blush more than a couple of times in order to show up on my skin. Lastly, the third shade is basically a bronzer but the shade is not suitable for medium skin tones. It’s a very light shade. But if you are someone who likes light contouring you can use this one.
I also like to use this palette on my eyelids and the bronzer on my crease. The texture of this is unfortunately not that smooth and buttery. It basically has a chalky texture.
The pigmentation is not that great as well. Even the darkest shade in the pan doesn’t show up on the skin. Therefore, I need to layer it a couple of times at least in order to show up on my skin. After this, still the shade looks very light on me.
Finally, the staying power is low. It stayed on my combination skin for about 2-3 hours. After that it faded away and it seemed that I never had any blush on my cheeks.

A big no. In fact, the peach one is nice though but not this one.
1) Use a primer as a base to increase the staying power of this blush.
2) If you have dry skin, moisturise your skin well and then apply the blush.
3) To increase the staying power of the blush, use a similar shade cream blush and then top it up with this blush.
4) Use this bronzer for light contouring.
5) One can also use shades in this palette as eyeshadows.
6) Always remove your makeup with good makeup remover or any oil which suits you.
