In Detail MCaffeine Naked Detox Green Tea With Onion Oil Hair Growth Oil Review, Swatches and My Experience

The oil comes in a nice tall transparent glass bottle with a glass dropper on top. Mcaffeine products are not gender specific and that actually reflects on the packaging. Now while I really do love the innovative idea of coming up with a long dropper for a hair oil which is really convenient, I am disappointed with the fact that function wise, the quality of the dropper is not upto the mark. It just picks up a very tiny amount of oil most of the time when you press the top bulb normally. You need to really put a lot of pressure on the bulb if you wish that a decent amount of oil gets picked up in the dropper.

It has a really nice fresh smell. Please make note that this particular smell is an added fragrance. On the bright side, this fragrance masks the smell of onion oil which is an important ingredient of this oil besides green tea oil. Has a nice consistency, not very thick or thin. It is slightly sticky but not very “chip chip”. I mean when its applied on the hair, it doesn’t make the hair look very greasy but someone can surely appreciate that you’ve oiled your hair.

How I Use it

So I usually oil my hair every alternate day or every 2 days, night before washing. I use this oil the same way. After combing my hair, I apply this on the scalp. Initially I tried using this with the dropper but it got pretty annoying because I had to press it super hard in order to get a substantial amount of oil in the dropper. So after a few times, I ditched the dropper and used the oil in the usual way.

Now I take it in my palm and use my fingers to massage it in my roots. Once I am done applying it all over the scalp, I take a little bit and apply it on the lengths of the hair.

Effects

This oil is really good for the hair. Next day after washing my hair, my hair feel more manageable. The hair look nice and healthy. The Mcaffeine hair oil has some really nourishing ingredients like Sesame oil, Olive oil, Bringraj, Vitamin E etc. That is the reason it will be amazing specially if you have dry hair. It is always good to use a concoction of such amazing oils for the hair.

However, after using this for almost more than a month, I am yet to notice any significant changes in my hairfall pattern or my hair growth. Although I really like it for its nourishing properties, I am not mighty impressed because it did not reduce my hair fall or increased the rate of my hair growth. To be honest I was quite shocked because it seems to be working for most of the people as per the reviews but it did not work for me. 🙁

Final Verdict

I think this is really nice product by the brand. The hair oil contains some of the best known oils for hair care. It makes my hair really nice and soft. Nourishes them quite nicely. However, while this does seem to be working for a lot of people as per the online reviews, it failed to show any effects on my main concern which is Hairfall. Also, I did not notice any enhanced hair growth while or after using this oil.

The oil is free of mineral oils, SLS and parabens. So this is completely natural. I would specially advise ladies with dry and dry to normal hair types to go ahead and try this. It is often available on discounts.
