MCaffeine Naked & Raw Coffee Face Mask Review: Hello Beauties! Thought of taking a small break from reviewing makeup products so I am reviewing a skincare product today. Today I will be reviewing a face pack from the brand Mcaffeine. It is Mcaffeine naked and raw coffee face mask.

I really love applying face mask and I apply them every alternate days as I think face packs plays a major role in my skincare regime they keep my skin clean and problem free to some extent. I keep on experimenting with different face packs from several brand.

I spotted this brand on nykaa and the word coffee tempted me so I thought of giving it a try, hence I ordered it. Want to know how this face mask fared on me than keep reading my views below.

How To Use MCaffeine Naked & Raw Coffee Face Mask

Clean your face with a mild face wash. Apply a generous amount of the mask with the spatula. Spread it into an even layer. Avoid the area around the eyes, brows and the lips. Leave the mask on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water in a scrubbing circular motion. Use a light moisturizer to lock the moisture in.

In Detail MCaffeine Naked & Raw Coffee Face Mask Review and My Experience

The Mcaffeine coffee face mask comes packed in a huge square cardboard box with all the important as well as fun information printed on it which I like. The actual mask comes in a huge bulky glass jar even its jar has all the necessary information regarding the product.

The jar came secured with a good amount of sponges so that they did not break in transit. I must say they have put in a lot of effort in their packaging.

The face mask comes with a wooden spatula to scoop out the product and we do not need to put our fingers in the jar as it can contaminate the mask.

The jar is transparent and it also has a twist open cap which closes tightly. I’ won’t say that the product is travel friendly as it is very huge and heavy and carrying it while travelling will be a big no no for me. Overall I loved its packaging to the core outer as well as inner.

The fragrance of the mask is so yummy. It smells very chocolaty though it is coffee mask. I think its because of the pure cocoa present in it. The smell lingers till the time the time the mask is sitting on my face. But it does not bother me much because I love chocolate and can smell it throughout my life (just kidding).

When I open the lid I see a thick ashy dark brown color face mask which smells like heaven the moment I open the lid. The texture of the mask is very smooth and creamy  and also there is a small coffee granules present in it which is meant to exfoliate our face. 

How I Use it

I apply this mask three times a week after washing my face with a good cleanser patting my skin dry. As the brand mentioned we need to apply a thick layer of it, so I scoop out a generous amount of the mask in a spatula and apply a very thick layer all over my face and neck. I never forget to apply mask on my neck as well because even our neck area is equally important as our face.

I leave this mask for good about 20 minutes and than I wash it off with a normal tap water and than I apply my favourite emollient moisturiser. When I was washing my face I was also massaging my face very gently as it has granules of coffee in it.

Effects

After washing when I touch my skin it feels so soft and silky. The face mask is very gentle and makes my skin soft, smooth, clean and refreshed. It also adds a healthy glow to the face.

The exfoliating properties of coffee granules and natural clays ensures that the skin is absolutely free from impurities though the effect does not last for 1 day also.

The face pack will suit every skin type weather you have oily dry or sensitive skin because it is very gentle on skin.

1) The tub is very bulky and could not be carried along easily.
2) Effect does not last for longer period of time.

1) I suggest you to apply this mask before taking a shower as it cause lot of mess in sink.
2) The mask acts a scrub as well you can scoop out a bit in a small container and take it with you while travelling instead of taking scrub seperately.
