Texture & Finish

These lip creams have a very mousse like texture which glides like butter on the lips. It feels very comfortable to wear and as the name suggests, it dries into a complete matte finish without any tacky or sticky feel to it. Moreover it is wise to describe it as a powdery matte lipstick since it honestly goes powdery matte on application.

Pigmentation

These are intensely pigmented liquid lipsticks that only a single dip is enough to cover the entire lips no matter how pigmented one’s lips are. Due to mousey texture it glides on lips and just one swipe is enough to give complete opacity on lips.

Shade – Milani Liquid Lipstick Gorgeous

Gorgeous is a such versatile berry shade which has purple and pink undertone in it. It is a shade made for every skin tone in the world. It makes my face look so glowing even without makeup.

Packaging

The packaging of the lipstick is quite standard see through tube with beautiful golden cap over it. Milani is all about golden packaging in their products. The tube corresponds to the true colour since its a transparent tube.

Wear of the Lipstick

The wear of the lipstick is quite comfortable inspite of powdery matte finish. But after 4 hours of wear, my lips start feeling drying. Though I always use chapstick underneath any liquid lipstick but still, at certain point it sucks the moisture out of the lips and makes the lips patchy. However I do love the fact that even with soft creamy texture it does not bleed of out of lip margins. It does leave a strong stain even after being completely removed.

Longevity

Milani Amore Matte Lipstick is pretty long lasting. Though it does fade off from the centre of my lips after meals, however is not very prominent and hardly noticeable on close observation.

The only disappointment is the blotchy appearance of the lipstick after almost 5 hours of wearing. It leaves very strong stain even when lipstick goes off completely and I need an oil based makeup remover to take off the stain.
