In Detail Natio Antioxidant Lip Shine Love Review, Swatches and My Experience

Natio is a new brand into the Indian market. An Australian based organic brand, Natio is catered to specific skin due to it’s variety of ingredients. Since it’s newer not many have reviewed this product that is the natio antioxidants lip shine.

First of all the packaging, a very standard plastic tube packaging very similar to other Indian brands like Himalaya, Vaseline etc. It’s transparent so you can see the amount of product left. The tube is very convenient and easy to use. It has a slant at the applicator end which will fit one’s lips perfectly. The tube is spill free and is easy to travel with. It’s a constant in my handbag now.

The best thing about the product is the ingredients list. Some amazing ingredients have been added to the product other than the usual chemicals. You have shea butter for a moisturising property, sweet orange for brightening, jojoba oil for smoothening and other great superfoods like papaya, sunflower and grapefruit.

All of these factors which are generally absent is a lowered priced product is what justifies the price and the quality of the product. It’s marketed as an antioxidant lip shine which is a great feature for Indians because we generally tend to have a lot of pigmentation on our lips and orange as ingredients make a great antioxidant.

The consistency of the lip balm is somewhere between liquidy and thick. It isn’t runny but definitely isn’t difficult to apply. A nice thing coat gives a hi-shine to the lips. It is also presented with small shimmer particles which I’m not a big fan of but honestly, they are as subtle as possible and they don’t leave behind as reside when you wipe off the lip shine.

I just hate lip glosses which shimmer particles, the give lips the most unnatural look.

The product is a bit sticky at first which is common for all lip glosses but eventually, as the wear and tear occur it becomes less prominent. I’d like to mention that my hair still gets stuck in the gloss even when it fades, this is a constant struggle. It keeps in the moisture and hence my lips stay hydrated throughout the day.

It isn’t having much of a colour or any shade so it looks almost transparent on the lips. If you are someone who would like some colour onto your lips this isn’t the lip balm to go for.

But whenever I require any sort of colour I put a small amount of lipstick of my colour of choice and then press my lips to evenly spread the colour and mix it with the gloss. It gives a healthy and natural looking colour to the lips.

The gloss has a bit of tangy fragrance which I really like. It is contributed by sweet oranges as an ingredient in the lip shine. It is a pleasant smell and does fade away after 30 minutes or so.

The sweet oranges also help the lips by lightening the pigmentations and the shea butter will restore the lost moisture.

The staying power of the lip gloss isn’t great which is obvious. It stayed on my lips for like maximum of 4 hours but I must even when it was totally removed the moisture was still maintained.

Overall I’ve been loving this lip gloss and even when the price is higher than other glosses in the market it justifies it by providing some amazing healthy ingredients and has by far been extremely effective. I’d suggest you to surely give this lip gloss/shine a try.
