In Detail Natio Young Polish Pore Unclogging Face Scrub Review and My Experience
I am scrub obsessed. I have used so many, from expensive to the cheap. This falls into the “less expensive” category. I love the formula. The texture of the scrub is gel-like. The base is transparent with tiny white scrubbing granules. They are pretty similar to pounded soft sugar both in terms of look and feel. This is probably the mildest scrub I have come across in a very long time. It doesn’t feel like a scrub at all. I am fond of scrubbing almost on a daily basis – so the mildness is an asset and definitely works for me. Every day things like smog in the air or dirt on your hands that can be transferred to your face can leave your skin feeling very unhealthy. The scrub washes away all of this and is a perfect refreshment for your skin.
The skin does not feel stretchy or dry after using the scrub. People with sensitive skin might use it as regular scrub as it is very mild and more like a cleansing gel. Ah yes, it also turns into a lather – which is an added bonus.
The product has a fresh citrusy scent to it – definitely an instant mood enhancer. The packaging is pretty matte mint green which is soothing to the eyes. There is a freshness in the colour. The cap is a simple flip top one which serves the purpose well. The flip cap and the slender tube packaging make the product travel friendly.
How I Use it
I always steam my face with a warm wash cloth – I simply soak a wash cloth in slightly hotter than warm water and spread it on my face for 2 minutes after wringing it out. This increases the efficacy of the scrub as steaming opens the pores and it becomes easier to clean the dirt.
Effects
The natural exfoliating grains pick up where cleansers leave off. The face scrub gently purifies and helps minimise the appearance of pores for smooth soft skin and a glowing complexion. A foaming gel exfoliator, the Natio Young Pore Unclogging Face Scrub fights imperfections to leave your complexion smooth and glowing. Formulated for oily and combination skin types, this scrub refreshes while improving skin’s texture. I love this product. It’s not too abrasive and although the packaging quotes ‘squeaky clean skin’ I haven’t experienced that ‘squeaky clean skin’ which we all hate – the feeling like all moisture has been stripped away, quite the opposite actually. My skin feels smooth and nourished after using this.
Pros of Natio Young Pore Unclogging Face Scrub
• Gentle on skin.
• No parabens.
• Affordable.
Cons of Natio Young Pore Unclogging Face Scrub
• Availability is the only point of worry.
• The price could be on the higher side.
MBF Advises
Target t-zone trouble spots – forehead, nose and chin. Then freshen up with a toner in the day or moisturizer if you scrub in the night.
MBF Rating
4.5/5 (Some people might find its mild nature to be a disadvantage).
I too love mild scrubs which can be used everyday. This looks perfect. However, it seems to contain sulphates…
Yes – sadly those it does contain :/
Seems like a better exfoliator than other scrubs since it’s mild and free from paraben.
True that Mariyam 🙂
this looks so nice but what happened to your photos? you used to click so nice photos aarti but these look so noisy..
You think so !? Thanks 🙂 Average work makes you appreciate above average work too 😉 But thanks for the feedback 🙂
Hi aishwarya,
I beg to differ, I quite like the pictures. Aarti has always put up some creative work and I admire her completely. I feel you are not impressed with the product packaging or the colour, the pictures are quite nice according to me.
Thank you Astha! But I value Aishwarya’s comments as much as I value yours – perhaps she is only expecting me to push the envelope further 🙂 – which is a good thing! 🙂
have never tried a natio product but they sound amazing, will try this one when my current scrub is over
You should, Astha 🙂 I love their daily shampoo as well
I purchased this scrub after reading your review. But it has left my skin dry. You have not said it dries the skin 🙁
