As mentioned above, I got this set in my monthly box of goodies by The Nature’s Co. and I was quite excited to use them since their products are all natural and free from harsh chemicals. I presume there is no SLS because my hair reacts badly to sulfates and trust me I come to know if a product contains it.
I have used this product 3 times already. As you can see the cleanser/shampoo is still almost a little less than half remaining, however the conditioner is completely over. I was able to use the conditioner twice.
They were sent in pretty sturdy bottles. I liked the packaging which is so travel friendly.
The Nature’s Co Marigold Cleanser/Shampoo:
The cleanser has a bit runny consistency, not like regular shampoos. It smells super amazing, like marigolds actually do, very soft floral fragrance. As I work it into my hair, it comes to this soft lather, and I like to very gently massage the product on my roots so that all the product build up is washed away. I really like this product in the shower because it does not make my frizzy hair turn into a frizz ball. You can actually feel that it is not ripping your hair of essential moisture. It leaves the hair tangle free and the beautiful smell lingers on for quite a while. It cleanses the hair very well as well as does not make it super dry. I really like this shampoo.
The Nature’s Co. Marigold Conditioner:
The sample was quite small for my long hair, however because I use the shampoo in the hair lengths and not the roots, it lasted me for two uses almost, although I feel even in the second use, I would have liked some more product. It has a really thick consistency. Smells amazing, very similar to the shampoo but this one has a slight milder smell as compared to the shampoo. When I worked it into my hair, it felt like my hair almost absorbed it, which is amazing. I waited for 10 minutes after which I washed it off using cold water. It made my hair soft and less tangly. I mean I could kind of run my fingers in my wet hair which normally I wouldn’t dare to do when my hair is wet.
The duo made my hair soft and shiny. There were less tangles to a very appreciable extent and I loved how it smelled. In case I forgot to mention, I like to oil my hair before washing and the shampoo did wash off the oil effectively.
Overall I guess I would love to buy the full size of the duo because going by the samples, they worked pretty amazing on my hair.
Do let me know your experience with these products as many of you must have got it in their May Beauty Wish Box subscription.
