I was searching for Huda demi matte dupe, no color in particular but have heard a ton about this formula being an exact dupe of Huda, so I went ahead and ordered this one, the shade is quite light and natural so why not?

This product range has a total of 12 shades, it has n*des, reds, pinks browns and purples. It covers almost all the color families.

When you open the outer box and take the product out, it feels classy and has a luxury feel to it and its super chic as well as elegant. It comes in a transparent rectangular bottle and has a shaded packing, the bottom half is transparent and then it gets black towards the top with a matte finish cap.

The plastic is of good quality, and gives a glass packing kind of feel to it, it doesn’t feel cheap or light weight but is a decent thick bottle. Nykaa is written in silver on one side of the bottle and the shade number and name is written on a sticker which is stuck at the bottom of it.

Although because of the transparent bottom you wouldn’t have to look at the sticker to know which shade is it so that’s a great part about the packaging.

It has a twist and lock kind of packing. Closes pretty tightly and doesn’t spill. you can keep in your purse or travel bag and go about your day. It wont leak and ruin your bags neither will the product be damaged in any way.

It has a reservoir tip applicator which controls the transfer of product and the pointed tip for precise application. Even if you wipe off almost all of the product there is still enough left for a single swipe application. The applicator is a bit slant for convenient and easy application. The applicator is a big plus in this product.

If we talk about the formula of this lipstick, it’s a huge disappointment. The formula is very watery kind of liquid and it’s not creamy or glossy or moisturizing in any way. It says get set matte as the name of the product but is doesn’t dry out into a matte or demi matte or anything.

It’s not very pigmented. It applies very easily but you can see the lines from the applicator. One swipe doesn’t give you enough colour. You need at least 4-5 swipes of it or two wipes with a lot of product on the applicator. I don’t understand whether its this shade or the whole range has this kind of result, I won’t be buying anything of this range again that’s for sure.

Because of this kind of texture, it transfers to everything. After a couple of meals/drinks there is no product left on the lips at all. No tint or colour or anything. Its feels like you didn’t have any product at all on your lips in the first place.

You should not apply any lip balm at all, or else applying this will be very difficult. So I would highly suggest you not to do that but definitely exfoliate your lips well else it’ll deposit on the cracks and creases of the lips making it look very shabby.

The shade is very natural soft n*de pink and I guess the lightest one from this range. A single swipe is not enough, it doesn’t cover my lip evenly so I have to go again and again with the product and ultimately have thick layer of it if I want for the actual color of the lipstick to show.

I don’t think it can stay on the lips for more than a couple of drinks/meals. and maybe 2-3 hours without any meals. It bleeds easily do try to use a lip pencil before else it’ll leave your lips completely bare.

Very easy to remove would be gone with a single swipe of a cotton pad, tissue or a wet wipe. I don’t have to use any makeup remover or makeup remover wipes to get the product off.
