In Detail Nykaa Matteilicious Lip Crayon Hot As Red Review, Swatches and My Experience

It comes in a cute little pinkish purple cardboard packaging which has all the necessary details mentioned on it. When you open it, you see a sleek little sharpenable pencil inside with a color coded cap. Although I like the packaging but I don’t like the fact that it’s a sharpenable pencil. Well it comes with its own sharpener as well which is great. Overall I like the packaging that it is simple yet easy to carry. However I would have preferred a twist up packaging over this one.

Coming on to the shades they have only four shades in this range as mentioned in the first paragraph above right at the top. I wish that they would have came up with some more shades.

Starting of with the review, the shade hot as red is a beautiful cool toned red lipstick. It is a good shade if you want to wear it to parties or evenings. The shade is neither too bold, nor too subtle. Hence, this shade will flatter beauties with all complexions be it a fair, medium or deep. Well it did tranfered a bit but Left a beast win behind.

The texture of this is extremely smooth and buttery. It glides on like butter over the lips. Also, settles into a very comfortable matte finish on the lips. The pigmentation of this is also great in one swipe you get fully opaque coverage on the lips.

The staying power of this is great it stayed on for 8-9 hours which I am quite happy about. Of course, with oily meals the staying power will be reduced. But you can always retouch it 🙂

1) I just don’t like the fact that it’s a sharpenable pencil. Rest everything is great about this lip crayon.

MBF Advises

1) If you have dry lips moisturizer your lips with a lip butter before applying a lipstick.
2) To make the lip colour look more intense, use a similar shade or a nude shade lipliner underneath your lipstick.
3) To tone down the shade of your lipstick, dab a tissue on top of your lips.
4) In order to make lips look more fuller and glossier use a lipgloss on top of the lipstick.
5) To remove the lipstick from your lips use a good makeup remover or coconut oil.
