So as I have already introduced you to Nykaa in my pervious post which was Nykaa Matte lipstick in 03 devious pink.

I am so happy to see nykaa with so many new launches in the market in a short period of time. Today I will be reviewing the newest launch nykaa Matteilicious Lip Crayon in shade next level nude. In Detail Nykaa Matteilicious Lip Crayon Next Level Nude Review, Swatches and My Experience

It comes in a cute bright cardboard packaging. Inside there is a crayon lipstick. The lip crayon is very lightweight, hence it is easy to carry. You can just throw the product into your purse and you are good to go. Now it is basically a sharpenable pencil which is quite boring for me. But it comes with its own separate sharpener which is great.

Coming on to the shades they have only four shades in this range. I wish they come up with some more shades in this collection.

Now starting of with the review, I bought the shade next level nude which is a very pretty neutral shade as the name suggest. I am really in love with this shade. The is my kinda shade. It’s just a perfect light brown colour. It does not have any pink undertones to it.

Shade

This is a shade that will flatter fair to medium skin tones. Beauties with medium complexion may also need a lipliner underneath to show the true colour on their lips. This shade is not suitable for beauties with deeper skin tones (Mine is MAC NC 42). For me it’s MLBB shade. I can see my self wearing this a lot in coming days. Although it says “matte lipstick” but it’s more of a comfortable matte formula according to me, not exactly powder matte. The best thing I found about this lip crayon is that it glides creamy on the lips, but it sets into a completely comfortable matte finish with no tugging at all.

Texture and Pigmentation

The texture of this is very smooth and buttery. It glides on to the lips easily without any effort. People with dry lips will also enjoy using this lip crayon as the texture is very smooth and comfortable on lips.

Coming on to the pigmentation. The pigmentation of this lip crayon is great but when it comes to this shade I need a couple of layers to show the true colour on my lips. Lastly the staying power of this is – “Oh my god no words to express here!!” – It is amazing! I seriously mean ahhhhhhmazing. Normally a nude shade tends to fade away after couple of hours but here this stayed on for good 6 to 7 hours with no fading at all.

MBF Advises

1) If you have extremely dry lips, use a lip balm underneath your lipstick.
2) In order to make the shade look more visible, apply a nude lipliner underneath your lipstick.
3) To increase the staying power of the lipstick, first apply a lipliner. Then apply lipstick and top it up with some gloss.
4) To get rid of lipstick use a good makeup remover or coconut oil.
