In Detail Nykaa MumTaj 13 Matte To Last Liquid Lipstick Review, Swatches and My Experience

This product has been on the market for quite a long time now. The packaging is a nice black compact size bottle which shows the colour of the lipstick. It also has a colour-coded name underneath which makes it easy to recognise.

The colour is a beautiful true red colour with a blue undertone. This is perfect for any bridal look. It will suit all Indian skin tones as this range is particularly formulated for Indian skin type. So anyone from light, medium and dark range of Indian skin can totally rock this colour.

It’s a strong bold colour which is usually picked by brides but can also be a party rocker as well.

The applicator is the real winner in this liquid lipstick it resembles the Smashbox liquid lipsticks applicator but has a slant tilt. The applicator makes it easy to apply to the corners of the mouth.

The consistency of the product is very unique it is creamy yet watery. It feels like a mixture of the Huda beauty liquid lipstick and the Smashbox liquid lipstick.

Once applied it takes quite some time to dry up so be careful with that give it a good five minutes to dry down matte. It lasts for 4 to 6 hours but after that, you can surely see some cracking. Oily meals should be avoided.

The size is very compact and it has a click lock so it will not open up in your purse. it’s a strong choice to make and cannot be your everyday colour. It also has a weird chemical fragrance which I am not pleased by at all.

My overall experience with the lipstick has been okay as I do not like how drying and powdery it gets after a few hours. I am not very comfortable with the smell as well.

It is decently priced but we have seen similar colours in various other range at a similar price point which are not as drying.

If you somebody who likes extremely matte liquid lipstick this one is for you. Overall the product is okay just not my choice.

2. Applying lip balm at least 15 minutes before is a good idea. Applying lipstick onto the balm is just a disaster
3. Avoid eating heavy oily meals with this lipstick
