Nykaa Prep Me Up Face Primer Review, Swatches: Hi Guys, Today I am going to review a face primer from Nykaa Cosmetics named as Nykaa Prep Me Up face primer. Nykaa launched this face primer a few months back and its been over a month since I own it.

I was not that excited to buy this primer thats why didn’t buy it when it was launched. There was an offer going on Nykaa that if we buy 2 products than they’ll give the third least priced product for free so I ordered some cosmetics from them.

In Detail Nykaa Prep Me Up Face Primer Review, Swatches and My Experience

This time Nykaa has done something different with its packaging. The primer comes packed in a white and pink colored cardboard box with all the important information printed on it. The actual primer comes in an off white and pink color tube which bears few information about the primer.

It has a pink colored flip open cap which closes tightly ensuring the product is travel friendly. Frankly speaking I do not like the packaging much especially the pink and white color co-ordination.

I feel that white color in makeup products becomes dirty with makeup stains and does not look appealing at all. But for the price the packaging is justified.

The primer does not have any smell so it will be a boon for people who do not like scented makeup products.

The texture looks like a clear gel and has medium thick consistency. It is oil free, as a result will work for most skin types. Once you start spreading it, the primer feels extremely smooth and has a slippery feel to it. Like most silicone based primers have.

I need less than a pea size amount every time, since it spreads easily and little goes a long way. It is not a good idea to go overboard with this primer because then the foundation tends to slide on otherwise.

I have applied it beneath my foundation and bb cream too and the results have been good. The foundation as well as bb cream glides on very easily on this primer and lasts for a longer time.

It also decreases the oil secretion on my T-zone. Even when applied alone, this primer lasts for quite a long time.

Overall, Nykaa Prep Me Up is a silicone based oil free primer, which makes a smooth base before application of foundation and BB creams, making them last longer and looking fresh.

If you skin is not allergic to silicons then it is a great primer to try.

Do not apply a lot of it. See in my hand swatch picture you need just that for your whole face.
