Hi everyone, I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine’s week. Today we are doing Organic Harvest 3 In 1  Face Wash Review, Swatches. Organic Harvest is a relatively new brand. It’s an “Indian Homegrown” brand which means even the raw materials are made in India. I am pretty happy that Indian brands are finally coming up with “All Organic” products. In fact, I have been using this since I got it and here are my views about it.

In Detail Organic Harvest 3 In 1 Face Wash Review, Swatches and My Experience

The Organic Harvest 3 in 1 face wash comes in a deep green coloured tube packaging with a flip open top. I love how the packaging goes along with the theme of the brand “organic”. All the product details are written on the backside label. However I do wish they had included a detailed ingredient list as well. Although they don’t exactly mention that this is a “vegan” product, the packaging does say that it’s free of any “animal ingredient” which basically means the same I guess. The packaging is sturdy and I don’t suppose there should be a problem if you travel with it.

The product itself has a moderate consistency. It consists of green coloured exfoliating particles in a transparent base. It smells pretty much like a regular soap based face wash, so honestly not a big fan of the smell here. But I would appreciate the fact that they didn’t add extra perfume or fragrances just for the sake of smell.

How I Use It

I take a pea sized amount and gently work it through my wet skin over my face and neck. It doesn’t lather much which is a good thing because it tells me that the product isn’t loaded with surfactant based chemicals. The exfoliating beads do not feel harsh against my skin as I gently rub my face with it. I then wash it off with normal temperature water, making sure I get all the product off my face.

Effects

It makes my skin feel squeaky clean every time I use it. In fact my skin feel refreshed and free of any sort of dirt or grim on my face. It does not make my skin feel super dry but I cannot skin a moisturiser either. It does give a brightening effect to the face but I don’t see it last longer than half an hour.

Does it Live Upto Its Claims?

The product has 3 claims – Cleansing, Scrubbing and Whitening. Now, the first 2 claims yes! It does cleanse my skin pretty nicely and works as a nice mild scrub. However as far as the last claim is concerned “Whitening” I am not too impressed. I did not notice any change in my skin tone. To be honest, no product can change your skin tone. In fact I don’t understand why would anyone want to change their skin tone? Its irony how we Indians run after “white” skin whereas people from western countries spend thousands of dollars to achieve “tanned” skin complexions like us. Well, the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence!

Anyhow, coming back to the topic. Organic Harvest 3 in 1 face wash is a lovely product to use as a daily face wash. It cleanses and mildly exfoliates the skin. I wouldn’t advise you guys to use it directly for removing makeup because the cleansing efficacy of the product would reduce as it does not have a ton of surfactant. I suggest you remove the makeup with a makeup remover or a wipe and then use this face wash to throughly cleanse your face.

Overall

I have been enjoying using this face wash. I recommend this to skin types because it worked amazingly on my combination skin. It neither made my skin feel too dry nor left any sorts of oils behind. However if you do have very dry skin or dry patches on your skin, make sure to moisturise the skin after using any face wash not just this one.
