Packaging

Pac studio finish compact powder comes packed in their standard black cardboard box with all the necessary information printed on it. The actual compact comes in a black sleek case which has transparent lid. It has a magnetic closure which looks good. Pac never fails to impress me with its packaging. But this time it failed. The compact does not have any mirror or puff to apply the product. We need to carry an applicator separately. Hence it is not travel friendly according to me.

Texture And Finish

Lets talk about the texture and finish of the powder. The texture is very soft and smooth. It applies very smoothly and does not give a powdery look. The finish it gives is absolutely matte. It does provide a little bit of coverage. Also, it is very light weight which makes it very comfortable to wear. Pac claims that it minimises pores as well as imperfections and gives flawless base which is not true. It does not minimise pores and imperfections. However, it does give a flawless base because of its smooth texture.

Shades

Pac Studio Finish Compact Powder comes in a total of 9 shades meant for every skin tone. The shade I am reviewing today is 04 which matches my MAC NC42 skin tone really well. I love the shades selection pac provides in their foundations and compacts.

Staying Power

Last but not the least lets talk about its Staying power. The powder lasted on my oily skin for a good 6 to 7 hours. My T zone does feel oily in between. So touchup after 3 to 4 hours is recommended for beauties with extremely oily skin like mine.

Overall Verdict

Pac studio finish is a good compact powder which gives a flawless base when applied after foundation. It comes in 9 shades for every skin tone. It lasts on my oily skin for about 6 to 7 hours which is impressive. The only drawback is that it does not come with a mirror or puff. Hence, it is not travel friendly according to me.

2. Select your shade in person and not online otherwise you may end up purchasing a wrong shade.
