Palladio I’M Blushing 2 In 1 Cheek & Lip Tint Dainty Review, Swatches: Hello everyone, hope all you beautiful people are safe, happy and healthy. I didn’t know this brand Palladio even existed a few years back, I wasn’t an international brands kind of person back then and this wasn’t available in India, so my knowledge about it was next to nothing.

I received an eyeshadow quad from this brand in my fab bag, I guess it was 5-6 years ago, I might still have that eyeshadow, I didn’t use it much back then and still don’t as its quite old and that has also been discontinued so I can’t buy another one.

It was a beautiful black and blues kind of quad, very pigmented and good quality. So, when the brand launched in India, I thought why not give another product a try, I also bought another eyeshadow quad as well.

The one that I have is called Dainty, it looked quite dark in the pictures, more like a bit of red toned but it’s a pure pink stick. The packing is the bullet lipstick concept, it has a cap and comes out when you twist it and apply and twist it back inside.

If you press it a little bit with pressure, it’ll lock tightly if you don’t apply pressure it’ll close but might open again if kept in a bag or something, but don’t apply too much pressure and also if you are planning to travel with it, keep it in a plastic pouch of something, it doesn’t have the click lock concept and it makes me anxious to keep it without any pouch, that click is what I need to be sure that the product isn’t going to get ruined or get all over my other products or my bag.

Although the bullet stick packing is very convenient as you don’t need any applicator, just apply with the stick and blend with your fingers, it blends very easily.

The formula of this is extremely creamy and soft, it has shimmers in it, visible shimmers but they are so fine and tiny that you don’t feel them at all, the texture is smooth and consistent.

The formula is packed with shimmer and is decently pigmented, it also transfers easily the shape of the stick is a bit rounded on the top which helps the application.

Considering it’s a 2-in-1 product, it should be suitable for both cheek and lips, since its packed with shimmers, it quite doesn’t serve the purpose for me. I like applying the shimmer blushes and even if I am going for a bit of tint, it gives that soft subtle highlighter effect which I am okay with.

It’s totally a pink product, which is the natural and most common choice in lip tints, lip balms and glosses as well, who so ever prefers a minimal makeup reaches out for a pink tint. But shimmer in lip tints or balms or lipstick is a very personal choice.

I can’t have even a tiniest shimmer in my lip products, sheen is okay to me but shimmer and metallic has never been my choice and neither do I experiment with it. I bought one pearl finish or frost finish lipstick years ago and I swatched it on my lips and that was it, I never applied it afterwards

So, when I bought this product, I was pretty sure and I was simply expecting it to be a cheek tint/ blush.

What I didn’t like about it as a blush was the fact that it doesn’t stay for long , it rubs off and it doesn’t set on its own, you’ll have to set it with a powder, be it a powder blush or compact or loose powder, but for it to stay longer and not transfer, it needs to be set.

Also, the price is a bit on the higher side, its 899 for 6 g of product and its not that great a product that I would shell out the same amount again. I’d rather buy a powder blush palette from a different brand as this any which ways needs setting with a powder.

Removing it is very easy, it can be removed with a makeup remover wipe or micellar water or cleansing gel whatever you prefer.
