Palmolive has long been in the industry and has fairly good variety of body products. Today I am reviewing one of their body washes from the range ‘Palmolive Aroma sensations’. This one is called ‘Feel the massage’.

In Detail Palmolive Aroma Sensations Feel the Massage Gently Exfoliating Shower Gel Review, Swatches and My Experience

Product and packaging

The shower gel comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with an even sturdier hard plastic flip open cap. The bottle has a curve to it to making it easier to hold. You can see a lot of bubbles when the gel is in the bottle. You wont be able to see the exfoliating particles as they are very fine and transparent because they are salt particles. Particles of Dead sea salt help exfoliate the skin.

The gel is sky blue color. Of medium consistency, not too runny nor to thick. It is not sticky at all. The fragrance is crisp fresh as well as slightly floral. This is sure to awaken your senses and invigorate you. Clear blue waters and floral smell, imagine taking a dip in the sea, that’s what this shower gel reminds me of and takes me to a tropical beach in the middle of winter.

How To Use it

The best way to use it is to pour on your palm and rub your palms together and then massage all over wet body, this way you will feel the salt particles against your skin and it will gently exfoliate. Followed by scrubbing with a wet loofah it will lather up and do the rest necessary cleaning. Or if you are In a hurry pour over loofah and lather it up and scrub, rub and rinse.

The gel is easy to rinse off and does not feel like there is residue, leaves you feeling clean but not squeaky clean.

The three main ingredients in it have many benefits:

The Aloe vera has healing effects. Also Softens and smoothens the skin. I don’t need the feel of moisturising immediately. The shower gel does not dry the skin out and is gentle for everyday use.
The Dead Sea salt has curing properties.
Water mint is also known as Chocolate Mint due to its distinctive smell. It helps to soften skin. The pretty, small lilac flowers have a minty-fruity scent to it that gives the gel its floral notes.

The scent only lingers for about a couple of hours after the shower. The bottle is big enough to last you a lot of showers.
