In Detail Revlon Touch and Glow Moisturising Makeup Foundation Review and My Experience

Revlon has such a wide range of foundations. I picked this one up as I was looking for some light foundation which would give me some coverage but at the same time won’t be too heavy on my skin. The SA told me this would be perfect according to my need.

It comes in a transparent glass bottle with a black coloured cap. A tiny compact bottle but again I am scared I might end up breaking this one while travelling if I am not too careful while handling it. Its consistency is pretty runny which I don’t really mind. I have the shade Ivory mist and it does suit my skin tone I would say. Also I notice that because this foundation provides a low to moderate coverage, you can always correct the shade with the help of loose powder.

How I apply it

I usually use my fingertips to apply this foundation. Using it on a brush would be quite cumbersome I guess because of its liquidy consistency. It blends easily and gives a low to moderate coverage.

Besides the coverage as I needed, the second thing that I like about this foundation is that it does not make my skin feel too dry. They do have some moisturising agents in the foundation however, for beauties with dry skin I would suggest using a moisturiser underneath. This stays on me for a couple of hours. I mean, after that it starts to melt. If you use a tissue to pat your face, it kind of comes out completely. So what I do to avoid this from happening is, touch up with loose powder every couple of hour or so. Doing that makes it last longer.

Apart from this, the foundation never broke me out. It brightens up my face when applied and I feel it would be a great option for beginners since it is quite easy to work with.

MBF Advices

It is a water based sheer coverage foundation. So if you are looking for something light and easy to work with, you can give this a try. For ladies with normal and oily skin types, this is a good option. Please make sure to carry a loose powder with you when you’re wearing this foundation so you can touch up whenever you want. Besides I feel this is a pretty good foundation as this price tag.
