I didn’t even know Rimmel London made eyeliner pens, my sister in law got a few things for me from the US and this was one the gifts. I got it last year but haven’t had the chance to open it, did that a few months back when I had to travel before the pandemic.

Though it is available in India as well but somehow, I never came across it or maybe it was launched later, I don’t know but it is now available very easily online.

How to Use Rimmel Scandaleyes Micro Eyeliner

Always treat applicator with the same sanitary care you give your eyes. Reserve it for personal use. Cap tightly after each use. Do not dilute mascara with any additive. Do not use any eye cosmetic if your eye is irritated, injured, or infected. Consult with an eye doctor in case of an eye injury. Good for 24 months once opened.

In Detail Rimmel Scandaleyes Micro Eyeliner Review, Swatches and My Experience

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Precision Micro Eyeliner. It’s a very fine tip eyeliner pen, its genuinely a micro tip which can be worked into a thicker line as well.

It’s a simple pen concept. It has a cap and its sleek and all black color theme. It is said to be water proof and smudge proof. Its quite pigmented, a single stroke will give you quite a dark black and a couple will make it really dark.

Though it is said to be smudge proof- it doesn’t smudge but it flakes off, just after a couple of mins it starts to fade away and transfer to my upper lid. I get quite oily in summers and if I have even a little bit oil on my lids, it’s gone in 10 mins, like a big arch on my lid itself. It transfers completely and can be removed with your bare finger. It just doesn’t stay.

After a couple of minutes of application, it feels very uncomfortable on the lids, like something is pulling at the eyelids, its very uncomfortable, no matter how I apply it, how thin I apply it , or I stretch a bit or not stretch even a little bit, it just doesn’t work, I find it difficult to blink only, the color also bleeds a bit (you can see in the picture, how it spreads around).

I had great hopes from this pen liner, when I saw it, it felt good, the tip was so precise and soft yet sturdy , it is very easy to apply and also , the precise tip gave the benefit of drawing any kind of liner very quickly and easily, even for a beginner a eyeliner pen is perfect to get the desired look.

It might suit a dry skin or normal skin, but it doesn’t work for me at all.
Removing it isn’t an issue and can be removed any which ways. Even with a basic wipe it can be removed.

I have combination skin, and it gets very oily in summer and monsoons, it doesn’t work for me , if you are any other skin type it might suit you but I wouldn’t be too sure about it. If you have my skin type please don’t waste your money on it, it has been quite a disappointment to me, a huge one if I am being honest. I really with it worked for me.
