Some problems I face when applying eyeshadows is, they crease easily and sometimes look dull. I have small eyes with a lot of creases. After applying makeup, I find it settles in my creases and that the eyeshadow is not as vibrant as had I first applied it. Packaging

The primer comes in a silver plastic tube with a black screw on cap. The first thing you notice about the tube is the “24hour” claim. I don’t think I would ever be able to test out the time limit mentioned. I would never go to sleep with makeup on. The tube is sturdy and compact.

Texture, Consistency, Formula

Unlike most of the primers which are more on the liquid side, the texture of this one is like a balm or paste like consistency. The first time I squeezed some product out of the tube I almost threw it thinking it had dried up in the tube. The waxy balm consistency very easily starts warming up and dissolves into a creamy formula the second you start working it on the eyes. The balm goes on smooth and is not sticky. You only need littlest of little amount, (the pictures of amount I took out was too much).

Usage

It forms a thin film on your eyes. The silky formula evens out the skin and preps the eyelids perfectly for any eyeshadow. I could instantly feel the difference as it also colour corrected my lids a little (as I have slightly pigmented lids). Let it set before you start applying eyeshadow. The primer takes about a minute to dry and set. Don’t use a lot otherwise it will set in your creases. The formula is really thick, so the tube will last you forever! I don’t have dry or oily lids and I feel the formula is moisturising.

Performance

The eyeshadows go on smooth without budging the primer. You will notice how little eyeshadow you need for it to standout than compared to without a primer. Also, the colour payoff of the eyeshadow gets better.

I bought this one as I had my sister’s wedding coming up and I needed my eyeshadow to stay for about 9+ hours. It dint let me down! After exhausting, sweaty 10 hours I come back home and look in the mirror to only find my eyemake as vibrant and shimmery /sparkly as it was. The primer was truly put to test, my eyeshadow dint crease at all, the colors dint transfer to my upper lid, My eyeliner dint run down my face even after a few sessions of crying.

Final Thoughts

The packaging could have been better for $21. The packaging looks like the tube will break from the sides anytime. Also you need only a tiny bit of product which is impossible to squeeze out of the tube. Hard to control the amount that comes out, I find myself wasting a little bit of product every time I squeeze some to apply.

Barely there as the name of the shade goes, its sheer – meaning it wont cancel out all the blueish veins. Advised to apply on bare lids. If you put concealer/foundation over it to make a blank canvas, theres no point of the primer. If you put concealer/foundation below the primer it makes them clumpy and slippery. I just wish it was slightly more opaque.
