Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Waterproof Concealer Review, Swatches: I loved Pooja’s article on Smashbox Bold Glitter Eyeshadow Palette and noticed that I too have few Smashbox products in my vanity that I love to the core, and wanted to review for all you beauties on the blog. The shade and the consistency was just right. Well with the purchase I was offered samples of primers, eyeshadows and travel size foundation which doubled my happiness further.

To be precise this is my third concealer after Garnier and Colorbar. While I have used Garnier only once or twice till date, the colorbar pencil did get over with continuous usage. Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Water Proof Concealer (Medium) comes in a thin transparent long plastic tube with a black colored lid that has a long wand. The shade of the concealer is mentioned on one end. The concealer tube itself comes in thin black colored cardboard box that has complete product details.

The wand has a soft foot applicator on one end which helps in the product application. The thickness of the applicator is appropriate to be applied on any smallest area while the broad end helps in large area applications. The concealer packaging is spill proof and can be easily carried even in the Jeans pocket.

Smashbox studio skin concealers are hydrating and waterproof that they can even be applied around the lip line for a neat definition. The concealer is easy to apply and sets well without appearing cakey or made up. It spreads well and settles within seconds of application without appearing greasy or oily.

The concealer provides medium to full buildable coverage. It is water proof and can be easily removed using any normal make up remover.

Since I have dark circles which are not very prominent but still present, I tried using the concealer with a corrector. The concealer worked in an excellent manner to brighten up my eye area and to give a neat defined look to the eye makeup that I tried on.

On days when my dark circles were less visible, the concealer did a good job of concealing without the corrector too. Since it is creamy and hydrating the eye area did not feel any kind of tugs or pulls during application.

I did not feel any need to reapply or do any kind of touch up. It stayed put till removal. I was satisfied because it matched the color of my skin perfectly and did not appear artificial even at day time.
