In Detail St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub Review, Swatches and My Experience

The scrub comes in an opaque white color plastic tube with a flip-open cap. The cap is translucent in color and shuts tightly. I would not say its travel friendly as the tube is very big to be carried along. Apart from the size its sturdy and leak-proof. So, you can take it along if size is not an issue with you.

The scrub is cream in color with brown color scrubbing particles for exfoliation. It has a thick creamy texture which spreads easily on the skin. The scrubbing granules are gritty and offer heavy duty exfoliation. Despite being a good exfoliator its not harsh on the skin. The skin is left squeaky clean post usage and the product washes off easily without leaving any residue behind. The fragrance is mild and gentle. The smell is fruity and very subtle, it wont last for very long.

The directions on the package says it should be used 3-4 times in a week which I feel is way too much exfoliation. I use it only once a week and I am happy with the results. After using it I do not feel any stretchy feeling on my skin. It is moisturising in nature and you can see a difference in the skin. The dead skin cells are removed and you have a glow on your face. I have blackheads around my nose area which are removed easily with it.

Overall, I am happy with how it works for my skin. It offers a weekly dose of cleansing my combination skin. I am a regular user and have no complaints whatsoever. I would not advise sensitive skin beauties to use this as it may aggravate skin problems. If your skin can withstand good exfoliation only then go for it.
