The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation Review, Swatches: Hi beauties! This is my first review and I am glad to be a part of this wonderful blog. I hope you enjoy reading my reviews and find them helpful. Today my review is for The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation. We all seem to be ditching those heavy cream based foundations that seem very hard to carry around. Nude foundation makes skin look natural as well as covers uneven skin tone. It gives a natural glow. One must be sure of one’s skin type before purchasing any foundation.

In Detail The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation Review, Swatches and My Experience

Packaging: The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a black pump on it. The pump dispenses the right amount the product, which is adequate to cover my entire face. The packaging is over all sturdy and leak proof. I apply the right amount using a sponge and I use a brush for a final touch.

Complexion: Indian fair skin

Texture: The foundation is creamy in texture but also to some extent liquidity. It does not require too much blending. The shade looks a little dark when you observe it (like in the picture) but as soon as it gets absorbed, it naturally settles down to match my skin tone.

Coverage: It gives medium coverage. I don’t have acne but then I do have small blemishes, and this one works really good on them. Instantly my pores disappear and skin looks clean and fresh. I use Colorbar primer underneath this foundation. It keeps my skin hydrated and settles down to give a semi-matte finish.

Lasting power: It stays well for 7-8 hours. After this it becomes flaky and my skin feels uncomfortable. Definitely this is not recommended for long time continuous wear.

Where to get it: It is available only in The Body Shop store and online. Also, if you are lucky, you may find a good discount on Nykaa!

Would I recommend it or repurchase it?

If one is okay with the price, then this one is really good option. Though I would still look for a cheaper option!

MBF Advises

1. Use a sponge or brush for blending since it evens out the foundation and makes it lasts a longer.
2. If you have large pores then apply a smoothing primer before putting the foundation.
3. Always use a good makeup remover, since even small left over particles of the foundation might affect your skin!
4. Choose a shade that is one tone lighter than your natural skin color.
